He had to come out at last 3 times to finish project.  I told him he needed to high ladder.  He came out twice without  the right equipment.  He didn’t work on the shutter.  I had to follow up multiple times.  I had to contact Angie's List in order to get most of the project completed.

He powerwashed my patio furniture and he did a nice job. I had something else I wanted him to do, but he didn’t have time. They had to put me off because the weather was bad, but it turned out not to be. He was right on time to our appointment too.

I purchased the Big Deal for $79 for 2 hours of work.  Scheduling the appointment seemed easy at first but the appointment was canceled the morning of due to the flu but rescheduling was difficult.  After multiple phone calls and emails, they asked if he could come on Sunday afternoon.  I had requested later on Sunday due to a friend's birthday but was called at noon to see if I was home.  In the end it all worked out and Dan did a tremendous job with my list of tasks including fixing my stormdoor on his way out!  He truly went above and beyond.  I didn't even realize my stormdoor was in such bad shape until he pointed out the issues and fixed it up.

Initially, I had problems scheduling the provider due to our conflicting schedules.  The provider was unable to perform the work I initially purchased the coupon for, so I hired another person who completed the work a few weeks prior.  Once this provider scheduled, there was a little confusion.  The provided stated he had scheduled me from 8-10am on a specific date for 2 hours worth of work; however, he  meant he would arrive between 8-10am and then work for 2 hours. Other than our scheduling conflicts, good work, pleasant and trustworthy guy!

My experience was fine. He was competent but he was not friendly.  He also did not clean up well after himself. I had trouble getting an appointment scheduled.

The service, from start to finish went great.  The handyman showed up on time.  He respected my home and was extremely polite.  He completed each task with ease.  We needed several small things done such as hanging photos and baby proofing different cabinets around the house, which he did faster than expected.  I would use this service again.

There were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal and no troubles with scheduling. One person arrived to the appointment and completed the work in about an hour. Everything turned out good.

Toilet worse after repair because of wrong brand of stopper. Which we were not notified of and so we had to figure out the problem and complete the repair ourselves

The installation went very well.  It took an extra hour but we were expecting the project to take about 3 hours.  Dan showed up on time and got right to work.  He had to run to Lowe's to get a couple of items, but returned promptly and finished the project.

I contacted Handyman Dan prior to purchasing an Angieslist Big Deal to determine whether Dan could perform a job for me involving both plumbing and electrical.  I received an email within a couple hours letting me know that I could purchase the deal, and he would be able to, and if necessary, what the additional cost would be for materials.  I immediately purchased the big deal, and within less than 12 hours I received a notification with my scheduled time less than 1 week from the time of purchase.  Dan arrived early, performed the job within the given timeframe, and provided quality service without the need to charge extra.  I would highly recommend Handyman Dan in the future, and would contact him for future jobs. 

Dan was prompt in responding, showed on time and finshed work quickly.

I ordered the 2 hour big deal and had a prioritized list ready.  Overall I think the 2 hour deal was great, but I wanted more.
I had to play phone tag a few times and email tag to finally get a date scheduled, but in the end they scheduled about a week out.
I asked what additional hours would cost (around $80) and I thought their rate was fair.  I told them I had a list longer than 2 hours and would like to schedule a time when he could stay to do more work that I pay extra for all at once to accomplish the rest of the items I need done.  I thought he would but alas he only gave me the two hours I paid for and rushed off to the next job.  He was on the phone a lot during the job, probably juggling big deals.
He also quoted me way too much to come back.  I wanted to pay the additional hourly rate having him come once, it's not my fault he had to go and come back, yet he would charge me normal rate for the first hour again to come back.  He also told me instead of the hourly rate to replace our outlets with tamperproof ones it would be $40 per outlet!  I know 3-4 can be done in an hour's normal rate, so I'm not inclined to pay that at all.
In the end the big deal was worth it, but I'm not sure they would have been affordable after that, or able to take the time to help me with my entire list.

I had a question I wanted to be answered before I purchased the coupon but it was difficult to get an answer.  I wanted to make sure the faucet installation was covered first.   I finally got my answer and  purchased a coupon.  Dan called set up a time.  He did a good job and even stayed a little longer than the two hours with out charging more.  However, after he left, I noticed to holes drilled in the wall next the toliet paper holder.  He had not mentioned to me that he made a mistake and did not offer to repair.  I was dissapointed in that. 

Dan and team arrived within the window they had specified on the date of service.  They were respectful of our space and took measures to not track dirt into the house on a rainy day.  When complete, they did a walk through to confirm our satisfaction with their services.  We had a relatively simple project, but they were easy to work with and responsive.  He did collect payment prior to finalizing the job, but the remaining efforts were waiting on the drywall and they did completely finish and clean up same day, so it wasn't an issue.
