The company was founded in 2010 in Virginia. It's often said that moving is one of the most stressful things you will ever do. It probably is when you consider it involves your home, your family, your work and your money all at the same time. At Great Job Moving and Storage we aim to help shoulder some of the stress by taking responsibility for collecting and delivering your belongings to your new home on time and in one piece. We know that the success of our moving company depends on the satisfaction of our customers. Our goal is to make you feel you hired some of the best movers in DC metro area. Hi Angie’s List Members This comment is correct. We didn’t move this Cusotmer and the “F” grade is not indicative of the level of service we provide to our values customers. We ask Angie’s List to contact the member to explain to them that providing and “F” grade to a service provider that had no interaction with them impedes on the truth and falsifies the review process.

Description of Work: I sold my house on December 8th, 2016. I had to vacant the house under time pressure. As Angie’s list member, I desperately looked for a moving and storage company. I contacted and interviewed several companies, including the G&J. I found the G&J Moving & Storage service quite reasonable and accommodating. Mr. Alexander was very forthcoming with the estimates and took good care of the moving. He and his team were very punctual, and they did a very meticulous and wonderful job. His crew worked non-stop, starting from 9:45 AM and they finished at 9:45 PM. My belongings stayed in their storage for a few days without any incidents. Mr. Alexander Yakimovich and his team are very patient and courteous individuals. Unfortunately for me, there were complications and surprises involving the new property I was to move into. I was forced to change our previous agreement. Mr. Alexander Yakimovich and the G&J employees graciously did everything in their power to adjust to the circumstances and facilitate the move with my new apartment complex on a different day. They did a superb job for me. With no hesitation, I recommend G&J Moving and Storage for your next move.

Description of Work: Moved my furniture to new home. There was a mix up in the reservation in that I did not officially confirm the reservation. I called them, and they were able to outsource the job to another company. I am very appreciative of them fitting me in. Coupon on Angie's List was $649. I had to pay additional fees for tape usage. Overall great experience.

Description of Work: G&J movers came into our house, surveyed what needed to be moved and got right to work. Once all was loaded, they took it to the new house and immediately began unloading and placing furniture. All of the gentlemen were professional, handled our furniture with care, and worked hard all day. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend them!
