Excellent job.

Furr Roofing did an excellent job installing our roof, gutters, attic fan & shutters. Mark came out and told us what needed to be done and gave us options, no pressure from him. We took his advice and glad we did. The crews were all very professional. Showed up when they said the would, got right to work and when finished cleaned up thoroughly. The price for the complete job we thought was very reasonable. We are 100%+ satisfied.

Went very well. Two men in an unmarked truck showed up and said they were from the company. One man walked the entire roof and determined that five shingles needed replacing, called Mark for a price and Mark called me. I thought the price was a bit high and got it lowered a little. The shingles were quickly replaced and the roof looks like it did before the storm. Note that I had contacted two other roofers and Furr got the job because of their responsiveness, not necessarily their price.

Estimate and proposal were done promptly. Once accepted you have to wait for the weather to be good for several days in a row. which for us didn't take long. We were scheduled and the crew showed up on time and immediately started working. Everything outside was protected in case of falling debris and they removed 2 layers of shingles. Wood was replaced where needed and a vapor barrier put on before the new shingles. Attic fans were installed, one replaced and one new one in the garage . When they left all debris, etc had been cleaned up and you couldn't even tell that we had anything done. A few days later the electrician came and connected the fans.

Mark Furr responded quickly to my online request for an estimate. He came by the house the following week and did a visual inspection, and provided an estimate for the job using the materials I had requested, and also provided an estimate for an upgraded shingle. His cost was more than fair, well under the other estimates from respected local contractors. I requested an in-home visit to meet Mark and discuss the pricing and colors, and he took an hour out of his day to accommodate me. Very professional, without being pushy. I signed the contract that day, and when my shingle order came in a couple of weeks later, we arranged an installation date. The Furr team arrived early, worked efficiently and respectfully (the tear-off of my existing shingles was messy, but they were careful to get all of it into their dump truck and tarps), and they completed the job the same day. I had a chance to meet and talk with two of the installers, and they were friendly and took a few minutes to answer some basic questions and thank me for my business. Mark followed-up with me the next day, and made sure I was comfortable with the finished project. He never demanded the remaining payment, simply said send the check whenever it's convenient. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, start to finish. This is the third project Furr Roofing has done for my family on three different properties, and they're one of the best contractors I've worked with. No-nonsense, quality work, fairly priced. We contacted Mark for a quote on our roof. He dropped off samples, surveyed our roof, took photos and provided a quote within a couple of days. Mr. Furr also spoke to me to explain the damage in a couple of areas and his recommendations on when the work should be completed and shingle colors. Because of the scope of work required we received several quotes, both similar and competitive. While we decided on the other company, I have no hesitation in recommending Furr Roofing for response time, quote prices and professionalism.

Called 8 times in 2 weeks. Voice-mail every time. Never any call back. Very unprofessional. Before and after pictures same since they never made any effort to provide service. I have phone logs on phone to document attempts to contact.

Went very well work was performed and no issues. Were a little slow in responding with a quote and never received the pictures of repair that was promised.

I've been remiss in preparing this review as I intended to write it as soon as the work was completed, but you know how that is.

I can't say enough good things about  Mark Furr Roofing and the work they performed for us.  From start to finish, all work was done in a professional manner. Scott,  Mark's on site supervisor, kept us informed as to the progress of the job and personally completed the repairs to the roof over our screened in porch.  At the end of each day, all residue from that day's work, i.e., nails, excess roofing material, etc., was removed from the premises. 

From my perspective, you won't find a better roofing contractor in this area than Furr Roofing.

I contacted Mr. Furr because I had a pesky leak in my roof that had started to cause drywall damage to the ceiling in one of my rooms.  I had some reservations about hiring Mr. Furr because of his uneasiness regarding the distance from his business to my house.  However, he however later assured me that the distance would not be a problem.  My concern was that if I paid him to do the job and if later I had a problem, it would be very difficult to get him to come back.  
On December 14, 2014, Mr. Furr attempted to make the repair.  He replaced the damaged shingle along with the surrounding shingles. A short time later, I noticed that the water spot in the attic showed moisture. On January 29, 2015, I emailed Mr. Furr a picture of the moisture seen on the plywood under the roof. He attributed the moisture to condensation and advised me to keep an eye on it and to contact him if necessary. On June 18, 2015, I again emailed Mr. Furr to tell him that the spot was still moist after a recent rain shower.  I received no response.  I left voicemails and still no response.   My concerns about hiring Mr. Furr were realized.
It would have cost Mr. Furr to come back to finish the job he had started but I guess the cost outweighed the gain. His original repair had been done during the winter when the roofing business is generally slow.  Therefore, I imagine he was more than willing to take my job regardless of the distance.  But once the spring came, I guess Mr. Furr figured there was enough money to be earned elsewhere and no longer considered me a customer. 
The leak was mostly fixed but I ultimately had to pay another roofer to finish the job. So, basically I paid twice for the same repair. 
The lesson learned is if a contractor expresses a concern about the distance to your home from their location, don?t hire him because you might have difficulty getting him to come back.

It was wonderful! they did a great job. they removed 2 layers of our previous roof and replaced it with a warrantied Certaintied roof. They did the roof on time as promised. Compared to other quotes we got they were the most reasonable. The owner, Marc Furr, was very responsive and the team was very professional.

Very professional, very prompt and good service.  Does not recommend doing any services that aren't required.

I am so impressed by the work that they did.  They showed up on time and were very neat.  They made sure to cover the deck and around the house to make sure they didn't damaged the plants or the landscaping.  They worked all day long.  I would use them again in the future.

Great job!  They were done in a day, kept me up to date on what they were doing, removed and replaced the old roofing, did a great job on the installation of the new roofing.  I have a hip roof so it took a little more skill to align the shingles and cover the hips.  Everything looks great and is perfectly aligned.  They also did a great job of cleaning up.  When the job was finished, there was no sign they had been there, other than the new roof.  Furr Roofing was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who needs roofing done.

• Fantastic job.  Started job at 8 am and completed at 4 pm.  Covered all exposed shrubs, decks and ac unit with tarp.  Cleaned up all debris and hauled away.  Roof is beautiful.  Will recommend them to anyone we know.

I had some ceiling water damage that was not caused by the A/C system. Mark checked out the roof taking pictures to show me the damage. His explanations were clear and understandable to the lay person.  He explained the repair process, the materials needed, and who would be doing the repair. Since the work could not start right away due to scheduling, he explained how to deal with the ceiling. The work was done as promised. I would recommend Furr Roofing.

A+ for Mark and his company. We were experiencing internal water damage in our home. Furr Roofing was one of five companies we called. Mark returned call promptly and assessed problem same day. Mark was the only one who evaluated the problem by walking the roof; all others from ground level. He suggested a larger gutter was needed and knowing the problem was critical with heavy rains coming, worked the job in same week. The gutter worked marvelously and eliminated water seepage into our home. Additionally his price was fair and reasonable. He was $500 lower than another company with a solution that may not have even worked and did not include a new and larger gutter. Furthermore he discussed in detail the other repairs we must do to fix the internal water damage with a friend and his company and put him in contact with us. Above and beyond service! We will definitely use them again to replace all our gutters and any future roof repairs we may have.

Gave me an appointment time for estimate when I called him.  Arrived on time.   Mark Furr & his assistant go on the roof and identified the problems.  Gave an estimate by email within a couple of days and the date he could do the repairs.  I agreed, sent deposit and the roof was repaired on the date promised. He sent invoice for remainder of payment and sent a receipt when he received the payment.  Great no-hassle experience.
