He was very efficient. He was very concerned with the quality of his work. Made sure the tradmill was safe and running correctly.

We were very excited about getting our own Elliptical at home. No more tedious trips to the gym. We went to several places around the area and checked out several models of Ellipticals.We liked the AGF 1.8 because Consumer Reports had a very positive review and the price was reasonable. The Precor models were so overpriced. Looking around Fitness Resource seemed the logical choice. Plus they provided professional installation and delivery at a small cost. Some folks may attempt to do the setup on their own but I wanted to be sure our machine was done properly.
Dan at the store was one of the best fitness sales people we have encountered. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful.
Our machine arrived as promised and was setup.
We did encounter a small problem but Dan come out and took care of it. I was so impressed that he did this on his own.
I totally recommend this store for any fitness product you might have. Its always best to deal with local companies and local people. Even though Fitness Resource is a large company having a manager run the local store like Dan makes it feel like a Mom and Pop place. Great service, great price.

Start with above info. The treadmill we decided on was a model from last year. We are not runners, but use it for walking. The new model offers a good variety of programs/options, nice features the old one didn't, and has a solid warranty which we hope not to use. Once we decided to purchase the treadmill (with a good reduction as it was the last of this model from last year) we had only to arrange delivery. This had to be done by another person. Before we got home she had called. We called back and arranged for delivery early the next week.
The crew arrived a few minutes early, went about the set up with dispatch and obvious skill. It is pretty complicated and I would not like to tackle it on my own!
Set up took about 45 minutes. They ran a program to check that everything was in order. For an additional fee they took the treadmill away. The treadmill is working just fine. We are very pleased with their service and support.

I carefully researched the quality and price of a particular treadmill. It is carried locally by only two retailers, this being one of them. The other retailer (Leisure Fitness in McLean) was not well reviewed and this one had not been reviewed. I went in knowing the brand and average retail price: $2000 according to ConsumerReports. When I arrived, I took a test run. I told the salesman that I wanted to buy it, but I wasn't going to pay $2600! I told him the average retail price, which he thought was incredulous. The other retailer had it for $2500. He said he could sell it for $2400. When I stated that was still $400 more than the average retail price according to CR. I then asked about the warranty, and he immediately tried to sell me on the "extended" warranty and a "necessary" floor mat (another $50!). It was clear to me that he wasn't interested in a) selling the treadmill at a fair price, and b) he was MORE interested in UP-SELLING... when I hadn't even agreed to buy it yet! I decided to buy it elsewhere at a much better price without all the pushy sales stuff.
