EMCO BUILDERS INC

Emco's motto is ''We do it Right''. It should be ''We do it right, but only if you stand over us every minute.'' Emco management were rarely on site to supervise their subcontractors. The subcontractors did not always have experience in the required tasks. My husband works from home, and has experience managing commercial remodeling projects in the UK. This is what saved us. My husband ended up as the defacto daily project manager, catching serious errors early on(beams in the wrong place, etc.) and identifying possible solutions. During the course of the project, about $5,000 worth of work was omitted from the contract by mutual consent. This was due to the contractor's inability to either perform elements of work, or to obtain necessary materials; namely plumbing, floor leveling & carpeting, and purchase of attic stairs. We wouldn't use Emco again, or recommend them.

EMCO WAS A VERY GOOD BUILDER. THEY DID THE WORK QUICKLY AND IN A QUALITY MANNER. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE ON MY HOME AND THEY WERE VERY EAGER TO PLEASE US.

FOR THE AREA THAT WE LIVE IT WAS ABOVE AVERAGE. WE ARE ENJOYING THE SUNROOM SOMEWHAT. THIS IS NOT ALL THE COMPANY DOES SO WE WILL HAVE THEM DO ADDITIONAL WORK SO THE SUNROOM LOOKS BETTER.
