BEWARE!!! I paid a $450 deposit on a $900 total for services. The technicians came out and set squirrel traps on the roof and then came out and checked it one time back in April. After that, they never returned to check on trap or offer any information on the job. I called many times and left many voice mails and noone ever called me back. I then called and heard the voice mail greeting say the company had been sold and that you should contact the new company. I called the new company and they say they have no knowledge of my service and to call the old numbers. The old number is now sent to the new company so there is no way to get back to the previous people. I am now stuck with a Trap on my roof, an unpatched entry hole and no gutter guards and Critter Control owes me my deposit $450.00 back. However, noone I have talked to at the various Critter Control numbers seems to want to help in any way other than to refer me to someone else. This is horrible service and I would not recommend any Critter Control Services to anyone. Now I will have to get someone else to come out to remove Critter Control's trap and to make the repairs. BEWARE!!!

Be careful not to pay a deposit, that's my advice. We paid $275 in advance for some squirrels in our attic to be trapped and their entry hole to be patched. The company lost interest about halfway through the job (having caught two squirrels and having left at least one up there). They simply stopped answering phone calls. Turns out they were acquired in the meantime by a firm called "True Tech Wildlife Services," but no notification to us mere customers. After many phone calls and e-mails, I finally reached the new head of the company, a Mr Paul Nice. He assured me that they would now return to the job and that they were going to respect all pre-existing obligations to customers. On the other hand, he didn't really want to perform on those promises. The tech never called or showed up; and then Mr Nice, the manager, disappeared and stopped returning phone calls as well. Very weird behavior.

Tim and his crew did a great job.  What I especially liked was that Tim freely communicated with me at all times and was very easy to work with.  When I asked for some specific things to be done they were done, no questions asked.  Tim conveyed to me something that many contractors lack -- a commitment to quality and doing the job *NOT* to just get it done so they can move on to the next one, but to get it done well.  Obviously everyone works to earn income, but Tim showed me that there are people out there who take pride in their work not just their paycheck.  If you contact Critter Control I would definitely suggest asking for Tim.

Complete failure. After 10 days no groundhog was caught, and that was the limit of the service we had paid for (also, they don't leave the trap on the weekends). So after ten days of just leaving a trap in our yard and sending one guy to look at it every day, we had to pay $275 for NO RESULTS AT ALL.

They managed to find all the places that needed to be repaired and sealed up from the squirrels. They were very good and the owner was great. They got the service completed in one visit and were done in a couple of hours.

Critter control is basically a one-man operation with a roofing contractor as needed. This means it takes a little longer to respond to calls. However, he really knows his business, is very fastidious about checking every possible area for infestation/intrusion of critters -- in my case, squirrels in the attic who nibbled their way in through a loose roof tile. During the work, he slipped on an attic rafter and his foot went through the drywall ceiling of the bathroom. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured, just some scratches. I waited about a week for his roofing contractor to come back and fix the drywall. The repair was perfect -- you would never know it was broken, so I am very happy with the service and have no hesitation in recommending him. Very honest and ultimately reliable.

I was very unhappy. Critter Control came out and poked around, looking for the snakes. They made a few suggestions to keep them out of my yard. They were supposed to put a snake barrier up between the bottom of my fence and the ground. However, they only did the back segments - not the entire yard. He was supposed to put some poison down to drive the snakes away but never came out. He kept calling and saying he was going to be out but he never showed up. I finally called the boss and gave him the whatfor, and asked for my money back. The boss was almost as bad as the tech. I never received my money back, he really didn't address the issue, and he didn't call back when he said he was supposed to. To top it all off, they tried to sell me new windows.

I have squirrels in my attic in an area that cannot be accesed from inside the home and there is limited ability to access the entry point due to power lines. Critter Control has been trapping for 5 weeks and the problem is not being resolved. I live in an area with a significant squirrel population and, after 5 weeks of trapping, they have only caught 5 squirrels. While I understand that trapping can be a slow process, this pace seems ridiculously slow.
More importantly, Critter Control refuses to keep me informed of the process and what my options are since trapping is not working.  I have made numerous requests to know my options / what the next steps can be to get the squirrels out of my house.  The technician does not respond to emails in a timely manner and when he does, he just says to be patient and does not give me any information about my options and/or next steps.  Also, I have made numerous calls to the main office requesting to speak to a manager - these calls have gone unanswered.   I'm highly frustrated and will not use this company ever again.

Place trap the first day, but the fox dug another hole to get out. Placed another trap at that hole, but still no results. After about a week or so, the technician said he placed various products aimed an making the fox exit from her den under our porch. That night I heard a wail full cry around 3am and the next morning she and her pups were gone. Guess she was telling me off! They have not returned, so I guess all was successful. Still hear her bark in the neighborhood, so I assume she took up residence elsewhere. Didn't get the foxes, but that is okay with me. They didn't bother me. Just didn't want them near the house with potential mange issues or encounters with my wife or our pets! I'm getting the space under the porch filled in so not to have this repeat again

No more mice! Whew!
By the way, they also went above and beyond by helping me identify faulty roofing work that needed to be repaired before my roof completely caved in. Thank goodness he found that! We used another roofing company that we found on Angies list to repair the roof!

Her reaction and her response was very good. They did a very very good job. They explained to us what they were going to do, how the system worked. It was a very positive experience. With regard to price, they were not the cheapest, but we just thought that they were the best. At the beginning of it, they came every day to check and reset traps. Most of the time, we did not even know that they were there, even though they were up on the roof. There were times that we would see them drive away.

We had seen and smelled a skunk near our front porch and there were signs of something larger than a chipmunk digging under our portch. The team came by to talk with us, set the trap and they were helpful, friendly and professional. They came back each weekday to check the trap and when we caught a skunk, they came quickly to remove it. The trap was left on the weekend but not set. Results were good and no skunks have been back.

The vendor was supposed to remove rodents that had gotten into the attic and crawl spaces. Upon inspection they noted that the previous rodent control company had used foam insulation to seal entry points in the crawl space vents and gable vents. They discussed at length with me that this blocked the ventilation to my crawl space which could damage the dry wall and could block the ventilation system in the attic causing dry rot in my attic wood. They agreed to remove the foam and cover the entry points with screen. They also were to remove the rodents, which they did which took more than a month. I asked them to keep me informed as to when they would do the repair work. They called me three weeks after the work had already been done to bill me for the charges. Since this is a rental property and I live out of town, I asked for pictures of the work, which they refused to provide. I had my tenant send pictures. The photos showed that they did not remove the foam but put screen over this. When I called to discuss this with them, Paul the person who did the work and who gave me the quote, denied we had ever discussed removing the foam. I got an estimate to have the foam removed without disturbing the screen, and it is over $2000. These people cannot be trusted and do not tell the truth.

Critter Control removed a bat from our attic and identified and sealed the opening where it came in. He was prompt, courteous, and very thorough. Hopefully we'll never have to, but if we have any animal problems, we would definitely use Critter Control again!

This has been one of the worst experiences we have ever had with any service provider. The service technician came out about a month ago for the first time, and said that they key to trapping is to set the trap and leave it for a week at a time for two weeks, so that the animals get used to it. The technician also said that by law, he must come out to check the trap each day to ensure that any terminated animals (in this case chipmunks) are removed, and do not lie dormant.
During the course of the ensuing three weeks, the service technician trapped for a grand total of two days. And obviously, no chipmunks were trapped in those two days. We called the franchise owner - George - twice and he never responded. The service technician finally returned (we assume as a result of our calls), and a chipmunk was finally caught in a mouse trap and killed. It has been lying dead out there for a week - and remember, the service technician said he was legally required to return each day to dispose of any dead animals.
Again, we called George to complain, but no response. They have our money - more than $400 - and George has not returned our phone calls requesting that they remove their traps and return our money.
Do not use Critter Control.
