Cima Construction

During demoliton of the old deck, workers were not very careful of cladding which got bent up and the existing electrical was just dropped below the deck. A surprising number of deck boards were not laid with the outer rings facing up which will eventually cause cupping and hold water. Leo's wife came to collect the final check and I showed her the issues so Leo could come and look at the discrepancies. Leo never showed up and does not return calls after we tried to reach out to him. His price from the estimates we received were the same as three other estimates, and we chose him as he seemed knowledgeable. I would not recommend this company for deck projects.

Leo, the head of the company, contacted me through the Home Depot registration site. I talked to him about replacing my deck. Everything he said on the phone sounded good so I made an appointment with him to come and give me an estimate. He never showed up. He didn't respond to my text. When I finally reached him by phone he simply said that today was inconvenient and he wasn't going to make it. If I hadn't called him he wouldn't even have given me the courtesy of saying he wasn't coming. Needless to say you can't do business with someone so unprofessional.

Leo was great to deal with. He provided a fair price and displayed the knowledge necessary to do the job. Once the work started his crew stayed until it was completed. The quality of work is outstanding and the the workers were extremely professional, talented and polite. I would highly recommend CIMA for any home project. I will use them in the future.

I called Leo based on the good reviews here to ask for an estimate on the needed work. He was to arrive at 9:00am and I got a call from him at 2:15pm apologizing for missing the appointment and saying he would be available between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. I agreed to wait for the evening appointment. At 5:36pm I called and he said he was stuck in traffic and would be about 45 minutes late. I said I would look forward to seeing him then. When he did not arrive an hour an a half later (45 minutes after his revised message), I called him again. He did not answer but instead responded via text saying he was stuck in traffic and was "so busy". Somehow he got busy while stuck in traffic headed to my house, and without the simple courtesy of a call to notify me of a change in plans. Hiring any contractor requires a degree of trust, and based on this engagement, I will not be using Cima Construction. Hopefully others have a better experience, but buyer beware. I expect the same level of respect and honesty from others that I offer them, and it this case it was unfortunately not present.

Unbelivabily smooth, and Leo was great to deal with - he never got stressed or excited when we wanted to change a few things during the process. Without additional cost, I may add. It’s been about 1.5 years since our renovation and he most recently returned to change a pantry door out due to a manufactures defect. I will and have hired Leo for additional smaller jobs. Without reservation I would and have recommended him to friends and neighbors. Ed (kitchen 2017)

It went well. The process was slow due to a major rainy season when we started which caused some delays. Any bumps along the way however, I would call them and they promptly came. Always responsive which I appreciated.

Very well so far, I really like Leo and Cima. I'll post an in depth review when we do more business. So far so good!!!

The job was done to perfection. It was done on time. The crew was always on time. They cleaned the house after completion of work.

It went great. Leo came, gave me a proper quote...not like the others that wanted to charge double. I was impressed. We set a finish date and with the rain, he met the date. Will definitely use him again...and I'm so happy for the work he did and recommendations

Came by have me a price which I agreed to. Told him I would purchase everything for job, which I did and put them on will call at the Home Depot. I called him from there and he was to call me back and let me know when he could pick up. He never called, so I called him and got no answer. I waited and called the next day. He said that he would be by the next day around 3pm. I waited for him until 6pm. No show and no call. I had to go back to Home Depot, cancel my order and get credit. Have never heard from him. Would never use him again nor would I recommend him to anyone else.

It was an okay service. It was the little things that I was unhappy with. I had to had them come back to level things or to add bolts. The project turned out good but it was just the fact that I had to call them back a couple times. They used a subcontractor who turned a single vanity sink into a double vanity. They did not glue the water fixture on properly which created a flood in the kitchen. They did come back and fix it but overall it did not go right. I did not feel like we got the attention we deserved. The owner of the company would not come out to look at it and instead would send someone else out. They didn't do a bad job but also did not meet my expectations. I wouldn't recommend them.

Leo, the owner, was very attentive. If anything needed corrected or we did not like it he had someone come in a very timely manner to make the correction. In a one case within 24 hours. Fair pricing as we live in a county where construction is very expensive and priced 50% more than the last state that we had resided in. We accepted his bid after having 5 companies look at the job. We received 2 sketchy estimates and 3 formal estimates that varied by quite a bit. Leo gave us the best deal.

A friend of mine recommended CIMA construction, and I'm really glad I choose to work with this company. Leo was professional and his quote was very reasonable. We worked together on the project, and he involved me in every step to ensure customer satisfaction. The project took almost 6 weeks to complete (mainly due to the tiles I choose for the bathroom). Someone from Leo's team was always at the house working. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone thinking of doing a house remodel.

I have a home that did not have closet doors. Mr. Leo came and did the estimate for the doors and told me it would be a one day job, We agreed on price and the closet doors were installed. He will be returning for the next project which will be to paint my house.

I knew I was going to use CIMA Construction based on my initial meeting and impression of Leonidas from Day One. He was very straightforward with me from the beginning and didn?t spend a lot time trying to sell me a more expensive deck. I got bids from other companies just to be thorough. When compared with the other bids, I was very impressed with CIMA Construction pricing. Most of the other contractors were trying to sell me packages which cost a lot more than they were worth and offered no level of flexibility with options. Leonidas asked me how I wanted my deck to be built, and we went from there -- with no issues whatsoever. He built the deck exactly the way I asked and worked out a price that I felt was very reasonable. Though it took very little time to build the deck, we did have some weather delays, in which Leonidas kept me informed. he had a crew of very hard workers and even with weather delays, had the deck up in no time. I really appreciated how hard they all worked towards staying on schedule and 'WITHIN MY BUDGET. Remodeling, or any kind of renovation, (whether big or small) can be very stressful- but having Leonidas as my contractor really helped alleviate the majority of my concerns and I will definitely be calling him for any future renovation/remodeling needs I may have. I could tell from my initial meeting with Leonidas that CIMA Construction takes genuine pride in the quality of the work they're doing. I never got the impression that money was the driving force when considering the job. I would definitely rate CMI Construction an A+ in customer service and quality of final product.
