Wendell and his brother did a great job...looks like there were never any holes in the wall. They were able to squeeze our relatively small job in between their busy schedule, and because I had some daytime flexibility with my remote work schedule it worked out.

We had a small flood in our basement and we needed new drywall, some insulation, sanding, painting, new trim, new door, etc. Barker Brothers did a great job. The whole job took only a week. I would hire them again for other repair work.

Great service! Wendle came by the very next day after my call to assess the situation and give a price estimate. He arrived exactly as promised the following day to do the initial drywall patch and apply the first coat of drywall mud. Came back the following afternoon to do another skim coat of drywall mud. Final visit the next afternoon to sand. He left the area as clean as when he started. The finished product is perfect. Just like it never happened. The final cost was exactly as quoted. I highly recommend this company, and plan to use them for any future needs.

We were able to come to an agreement over the phone. I liked that Barker Brothers is a family-owned, local (Woodbridge, VA) business. Once they started the work, it only took a couple of days. Everything was done to our satisfaction and they left the work area clean. They were honest, fair, and did quality workmanship. I rated the price as a "B" because it was more than I expected to spend, but quality workmanship is worth the price. It was done right!

Beautifully. Wendell and Richard were prompt and installed the drywall in two days and even fixed some problem areas where the framing wasn't quite right. Their finishing team did the taping, etc., plus a primer coat and by the following Monday they were completely finished. Wish we knew about them before we started finishing our basement. This has been the best experience my husband and I ever had hiring a company to do work at our home.

It went great as usual. Theses guys showed up early and completed the job in a quick and professional way. These guys are great!!

Wendell and Richard gave me an estimate a year before I contacted them to complete the work. They came back out to take a look at the job and provided an updated estimate. Once they started, they came every day unless other arrangements were made. Both are extremely courteous and responsive. Two other men completing the "finishing" but Wendell came to make sure it was going well. It was a great experience.

The owner, Wendle Barker, was very knowledgable and friendly. He provided a quote months in advance of the project and lowered the price before starting because the cost of materials had dropped. Wendle and his brother Richard did the drywall hanging themselves and used other workers for the finishing. The drywall hanging took approximately 2 days and the finish work took approximately 3 days. They did a great job of cleaning up the work area each day. The finish work was excellent and my husband (who is very picky) was quite pleased. They didn't start working until after 9 am and they were sometimes late (hence, the reason for the lower rating for promptness). We have recommended Barker Brothers to friends and they have been pleased.
