Excellent service. Very professional company and Sami from the company was very helpful. He fixed the dryer within half hour and then he saw that there was some debris stuck in the fan area. He could have gone after doing the repair but he went the extra mile to open the back panel, take out the debris from behind and gave very good advise on how to avoid any mishaps in future which can unfortunately even result in a fire. On another incident, our Garbage Disposal stopped working and I called him for advise. He sent video of how to troubleshoot instead of coming for a diagnostic payable visit and I was able to fix the Disposal myself. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for good appliance repair and service.

after 1 month, I am still waiting for them to schedule repair. Home Warranty approved job and ordered parts that were delivered to their location (according to FedEx) but they say it is not in their possession. Home Warranty company confirmed FedEx tracking numbers and FedEx delivery system shows it was delivered at the address that coincides with Appliance Protection's Woodbridge office. My calls are not returned and after 1 month (job service approved by Home Warranty company) my fridge is not repaired.

Came and diagnosed the problem. Ordered the part. Called and set up an appointment to fix it when the part came in. He kept in touch every step of the way. Came during the time window as stated. Very, very happy with his work. Would absolutely hire again.

It was great service. Great technician. Sami explained the issue and fixed it quickly. Great job would highly recommend.

Diagnosis of the problem was faulty ice maker. Installed a new icemaker. Did not solve the problem. Tech came back and said it was working now , but was not. He suggested that he looks at the water line next. It should be another expense. What will happen to the installed icemaker i paid for for wrong diagnosis? Do i get it refunded to me?

My LG fridge was leaking water whenever we used the water dispenser and found this company through Angie's List (which had A rating). The first call I had with Sami, he offered to do an examination for $50 that would then be subtracted from the service cost if we choose to hire him after (usually, I think it's $60 because when I called his office, his employee said it's $60). During the call, he was very persuasive and wanted very badly to schedule in the examination. He expressed how I may find others who charge a lower visit fee but will inquire a bunch of costs (parts, labor, etc), eventually overcharging us for their service. After calling 3 other businesses, we decided to book Sami due to his estimate that it problems like ours would cost $120-200 max (somewhat naive, we should've obviously checked Yelp's reviews). 1st visit: I called in his office to schedule it in the window of 8AM-12PM. The lady on the phone said Sami would call before coming to give an accurate time. However, we never received a phone call and Sami showed up at 11AM. Because I was working, my mom showed him the fridge. At first, he told us the issue was our freezer was icing up and we needed to remove everything for 1 day and the problem will be solved. Sensing that wasn't correct, my mom went upstairs and told me. When she went back down, he was opening the back side of the dispenser door and said that part was leaking - something was punctured. Sami said he'd call back for the costs of parts and labor. We paid $50 One week past and he never called. I called his office to get his number and gave him a call. After reaching him, he said that right now, the part available is the entire door (not the individual parts needed), and that he'd call me back later to see if he can order the individual parts. We spoke later and he said the parts would cost $185 and labor $150. This came to me as a surprise, since it's way above the estimate. I asked him to text me a list of the items and its cost breakdowns, in order to run it over with my mom before booking him. He got extremely defensive and went on a rant of how "customers ask and go online to see the parts to be cheaper, but I buy from a local shop and have 3 months guarantee", he even mentioned Covid-19 and other phrases that implied I was going to rip him off somehow. This was so unpleasant, it got me heated because it was uncalled for. Eventually, he agreed to text me the items and costs. The items were: inlet water valve and water reservoir for $185. If you Google these parts, they can't be more than $50 total. Obviously, we were being ripped off. My brother came over to take a look at it. He fixed it by simply unplugging and plugging the valve back in. Nothing was "punctured". No new parts needed. No more than 10 minutes of labor was needed. I understand that it's a tough time for anyone, but this is a huge ethical business problem. I will never recommend Sami to anyone, and he has lost continual business from us. If he told us exactly what the problem was and solution for it, we would've thanked him, continue to use his services, and recommend him to many others. Unfortunately, this company is unreliable and cannot be trusted. I hope Sami takes a look at his reviews and change his ways. Otherwise, no one can trust to use his services.

Vendor arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. The drain trap was clogged and that interrupted the wash cycle completely. He cleared the trap and checked operation. All is well now.
