A 2 Z was quick to schedule and come out and diagnose the problem.  They quoted my wife $400 for the repair, but they ended up charging her $306 for the part, $212 for the installation ($518), plus another $260 to fix a spring on the door of our refrigerator.  The service technician said the washing machine control panel likely went out because the machine was off balance.  When my wife asked if he could balance the machine, he told her to have her husband do it, as it was a simple fix with a wrench.  I will never use this company again.

WARNING, you are at risk with A 2 Z Appliance Service!  A 2 Z Appliance Service damaged the dryer lid top by taking a hammer to it without my permission.  The lid looks like bumps in the moon as a comparison.

The company did not seek nor ask for my permission to take a hammer to the lid.  I asked the company to return my $285.00 and they have agreed.  The lid is no longer available in inventory and cannot be replaced.  Therefore, I must now spend more money to replace the dryer than planned costing approximately $450.00.  The dryer was serviceable until A 2 Z Appliance  rendered it unserviceable with the hammer as a fix.  This was totally incompetent and poor judgment of the company.  I feel that I was taken advantage of and that the company disrespected me as a person and has no respect for personal property.  Customers are warned that you are at risk in using this company due to their poor judgment, and disregard for people's property.

They came over in an hour. Diagnosed the issue. Quoted me a price and went to work. Very quick and polite throughout their service.

My A/C went out a few days prior, and I tried to fix it myself, to no avail, so I called A2Z. They came out very quickly (within a couple of hours of calling. The service guy diagnosed the system very quickly and provided an estimate of how much it was going to cost to fix the system. He stated the biggest problem was that the system needed to be cleaned, and charged me $200 to do that (claimed he was giving me a discount as it was normally $250). Then he stated that my capacitor needed changing, which is where the problem starts. When I mentioned earlier that I tried to fix it myself, I changed the capacitor, so there was a new capacitor on the system already. He stated that his equipment was telling him it needed to be changed, so he either would change it or not complete the work. I told him to proceed (at a cost of at least $150 even though you can buy a capacitor for $20-$25 and they are very simple to put on). He also charged the coolant.
Fast forward now to May 2014. My A/C unit is not turning on, so I've taken a cover off only to realize that the technician put the wrong size capacitor on my unit in 2012. My unit requires a 440 volt, and he place a 370 volt capacitor on the system. He insisted it needed a new capacitor even though I had replaced the one two days prior, and then he puts the wrong one on.
Save yourselves money and clean your system yourself annually. I learned the hard way. A can of coil cleaner is $5 at a hardware store. You spray the foam on the coils, and a few minutes later, wash it off with your water hose. A capacitor is, at most, $20-$25 and takes less than 15 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one on.

It was a positive experience. Their staff is very friendly. Their owner is also one of the service providers and is always willing to come out and answer questions. It turned out the parts weren't available anymore for my machine. They fixed one part but couldn't get the other one.

Our old washing machine spin cycle stopped working. I emailed A 2 Z late one evening and they came out the next afternoon. The mechanic opened the machine and pronounced the transmission dead. He recommended buying a new machine rather than paying to have it repaired, even though that meant we would pay him less.
Prompt, courteous, professional, and honest.

The repair person came with the understanding that he would give me a estimate in advance of any repairs needed to my Bosch Dishwasher. The house visit was billed at $65.00. This was merely done to entice me to let them in the door. After removing the panel to my dishwasher the repair person says "yes this can be fixed." He merely moved the motor with his screwdriver and said that the repair was done. And that I owed the company $289.00. This was a total ripoff as the dishwasher motor continued the jam. When the repair person returned he then claimed that the motor needed to be replaced for an additional $750.00. His claim was that the motor became "rusted" between his first and second visits. I attempted to speak with the owner of the company and she hung-up on my call. I'm out of $289.00 and the dishwasher is not working....fewer than 30 days after shelling out my money. These people are con artist!

I called them and they did not respond very quickly. When the person came he said that he did not have the parts and he could not get the parts until next day. I wanted the problem fixed immediately. He then fixed it after 5 the next day. I worked at that time. However, when I put the cloths the washing machine did not work. I called them again and this time the senior technician came. He said that the washer was not draining. He got the parts the next day. He started the washing machine before replacing the parts and the machine started over flowing. My house started flooding and did a lot of damages. I had to call the electrician and get a lot of things fixed. Finally the washing machine is running and they gave $200 compensation for the damages, which was obviously not sufficient. That was a bad experience.
