The workers showed up at the promised time and got right to work. The first day, they worked until 7:30 PM to get the new floor installed, sanded, and stained. They returned as promised on the second and third days to apply finish coats over the stain. Before applying the second finish coat, they installed shoe molding. One piece of shoe molding turned out to be about two feet short. The on-site supervisor made sure we knew about the problem and scheduled a return visit to install new piece cut to the correct length.
The only issue we had was that they left the front door wide open for an extended period of time while they were using power equipment to install the new wood flooring. Because the door was wide open, we were invaded by flies.
