We were very pleased with the service performed on our SKAG. It came back to us in great condition. The people in the service department were friendly and professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. The mower was picked up and delivered to us on time. The service department at Winchester Equipment Company is far superior to the company in Winchester where we purchased the SKAG. When we're ready to replace the mower, we will definitely go to Winchester Equipment Company.

I brought in two lawn mowers that would not start. They said they were busy and would not be able to look at them for 2-3 weeks and that it would be $25 to look at (not fix) the push mower and $40 to look at the riding mower. I said OK.
After one week I got a call that the small mower needed a new carburator and front wheel and that it would cost $225. That was too much so I decided to bring both mowers back home without them doing any repairs or even looking at the riding mower.
When I picked up the mowers I saw that they had broken the front wheel off the mower. I told them that it wasn't broken when I dropped it off. After considering it for 15 minutes they determined that they had broken it and would give me $15 off the $25 price of the assessment, but I still had a broken wheel. The $225 charge would have included replacing the wheel they had broken.
I then took the mower to a local small engine repair man and he was able to fix everything (including the wheel) for $30 total. Only one small cheap part of the carburator needed replacing.

The experience was very good. We arrived only 10 minutes before they were to close, but they spent almost an hour with us going over the features of the zero turn mower and helping us find a chainsaw that met our needs. They were very friendly and attentive.

I chose them because they service Honda engines. I was satisfied as far as what they did for me. I have never heard anything bad about them. I am not familiar really with how much it would have cost someplace else, but I thought their price was a little bit steep.
