Very punctual, kept me informed, completed work on time and did quality work.

Jim Watson and his team (Ken & Travis) removed all wall paper from the entire home that probably had been put up when the house was built in l973.  A couple of the rooms took considerably more effort to get the paper down than expected and mud had used to smooth the wall.  We had agreed upon a price plus the cost of paper removal but after all was said and done he did not charge any additional cost other than the agreed upon price of $4500.00.  I had picked out a color for accent walls that he had painted then I decided that I didn't like the color .... he took this very well, even smiled a little, and repainted the walls.  I fully expected to pay an additional charge which would have been entirely fair for having to repaint an already finished wall but he did not charge me.  Jim and his team completed the entire job in 3 1/2 days.  All furniture was put back in place, all pictures were hung back on the walls in all rooms, the floors were swept and vacuumed before they left.   I cannot begin to share how terrific these painters were, they were professional in their work, arrived when they told be they would  be here and completed the job ahead to schedule and most importantly they did a beautiful job!
I had gotten an estimate from Pifer Construction who was approximately $2500.00 higher, wanted me to sign a contract, pay down the cost as portions of the job was completed plus pay they had quite a list of don'ts while the work was being done with an estimated completion time of 2 1/2 weeks.  It only took a handshake with Jim Watson and I would highly recommend him and his team.

I'd highly recommend Watson Painting. Jim, the owner, came by and gave us an estimate for the work. We'd had someone do a botch job on the foyer and Jim said he could fix it. He was right. Holly, the painter, was an artist painting our walls. I'm so thrilled with the service provided. Thinking about having them come back to do our bathroom.

Jimi and Holly did a great job! They showed up every day on time at 8am and were done ahead of schedule. We are in the process of selling our home and wanted to freshen up some rooms we had not gotten around to paint. So on the recommendation of our Realtor she suggested I check with Jimi. I followed up with a a review check here on Angie's list and found the reviews to be positive. So I contacted him. When he came by I told him my intentions and he pointed out ways for me to save some $$$ since I would be selling my home. He gave me a quote and it remained the same with the exceptions of some minor changes in one color and an additional area to be done. but the only up-charge was for the paint which was very reasonable. While Jimi and Holly started together, Jimi had other clients to serve as well and would go to take care of them and Holly took care of the painting and did a great job. They are very neat and cleaned up after the work was done in each room.

These people are EXCELLENT! Hollie (painter) and her assistant painter were not only professional but also extremely polite. I was working/playing out of the house while they were working and they always made sure they were out of my way. Am going to be getting more painting done in the future and I will have them as my first contact. THANK YOU for your work here at my house in Stephens City.

Work was done on time, well, and Hollie (the painter) was neat, punctual, and friendly. I call Watson for whatever needs painting. Wouldn't think to call anyone else

We found Jim by chance when my husband saw and quot;Watson paintingand quot; on the side of his truck. We had been looking for someone to paint the main room of our first floor (living room) and kitchen. Every quote that we got from other painters was high, and always justified by the fact that we had cathedral ceilings and a large space. Jim surprised us when the quote he gave us for the living room and kitchen was lower than what other painters had estimated for just the living room! This also included the price of paint. He used high quality Benjamin Moore, and could match any color that we wanted. Jim was very personable and professional, always regarding customer satisfaction as a top priority. Jim worked quickly (finishing in 2 days) but definitely took no shortcuts. He did an exceptional job with 2 coats and every detail was perfect (no dripped paint, none on trim, even tone). At the very top of our cathedral ceilings are 5 small windows. Even in this high space, everything was perfect. Perhaps the best evidence of Jim's character was shown when he had finished the job, and I was not in love with the color that I had chosen for the living room. I was really nervous about asking him to re-paint ( I knew this room was a big pain), but finally called him up 2 days later. Jim handled this situation so well, and made me feel completely comfortable, telling me that and quot;the most important thing was that I was happy with itand quot;. I picked out a different color, and he repainted before the end of the week. We paid a small price for this, but nothing compared to what the actual cost of re-painting the room would have been. Again, an exceptional job. We LOVE Jim and would recommend him to anyone. He is fair, efficient, and takes pride in his work. We will be using him for all of our future painting!
