The Floor Shop

They were scheduled to start on Tuesday but called to see if they could start Monday which I enthusiastically agreed to.  The gentlemen showed up at the agreed upon time and moved all the furniture, some was moved to the garage and what was too large and heavy stayed in the room, the carpeting and vinyl were torn out and hauled it away.  They did a great job.  The same team installed new vinyl in the foyer the next day and the hardwood floor installer also started on Tuesday.  Richard, the gentleman that installed the prefinished hardwood floor set up the job so that I was inconvenienced as little as possible which I greatly appreciated.  The entire job was completed in 4 days and the floor installer moved all the furniture back and made suggestions as to how to protect the floor with felt pads on the furniture legs ...... he even helped me put the pads on the large pieces of furniture.

They did what we had asked. It did take a day longer than they had anticipated and they couldn't finish it the next day, so it extended it by a few days. Overall, they did a nice job and we're happy with the finished product.

I just want to say that this business is one that will go above and beyond to make things go smoothly:) Dana is so professional and business like and keeps things running like a well oiled machine:)  Dana calls and keeps you posted and was there from start to finish for us:)  Greg and Dee Dee worked with us on our budget and Gary, the installer (he sometimes runs a bit late:) is meticulous and takes great pride in his work. Gary and his helper, James did a beautiful job installing our floors.  I would HIGHLY recommend The Floor shop for all your flooring needs:)  This is a 5 star business:)
