The owner, Tim McGrane is a nice guy but a big talker. He must not have taken careful notes based on our estimation meeting, since he began the project with some mistakes evident. When i corrected him he denied that was part of the agreement. He had sent a proposal that I had to sign and give 50% deposit on before the project could begin, but it did not include a line drawing of the detail of what was included and his recollection of it was incorrect. He then wanted to charge more for my 'changes' to the contract! It took having my dad with me for a second meeting to resolve the dispute over the fencing he had not included. He still has not finished the entire job, saying he had to wait for supplies. We'll see if he ever comes back. I am not paying him the remainder until he does! If you use him, ask for a line drawing and be sure he is certain to write down all aspects of what you are requiring.He has a tendency to talk more than take notes. His foreman and workmen were very polite and respectful but not Tim. They were delayed a few weeks before beginning the project and communication was poor surrounding those delays. Be careful.
