Heartwood did a perfect job replacing our kitchen countertops, from the first customer contact through fabrication and installation. We were in the market for Corian countertops because we wanted to avoid the radon issues that granite can bring into a home. We knew that we wanted to use Corian’s Raincloud, which is mainly white, with some gray and tan striation to soften the look. It is a directional pattern, and Heartwood did an excellent job marrying the pieces together so that the pattern looks good. We had our new kitchen sink drop-shipped to them from Amazon, so that they could cut the countertop to fit it, and they obtained all of the measurements needed to fit the sink and the new faucet into the area in front of a large window with a deep windowsill. They included a custom edge, which looks wonderful. There were several areas that required a great deal of planning and skill to get it right, and everything came out perfectly. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional firm. We would definitely use Heartwood again, and I recommend them highly.

The overall experience from planning, countertop grade selection and installation was excellent. Because of a tight dishwasher installation due to the previous installation of ceramic tiles and associated subfloor, the new countertops had to be installed at a slightly elevated height.  Some other potential bidders would not even consider doing this.  Heartwood even went further, suggesting more than one design accommodation, giving me a choice of options. They were very helpful in guiding my wife and I with the color and material selections.  They guided us through the process including measurements meeting all deadlines within their projected time frames. Measurement and installation was done in a courteous and professional manner. They coordinated with a plumber and appliance installer who they recommended. His work was of equal high quality. We stayed in contact with Heartwood prior to installation as I had some additional questions. On installation day, everything went like clockwork. Very impressed with the precision of the fit of the countertops and the invisibility of the one seam that was required in a large surface.

I originally called them about having a entirely new counter top installed. They asked me why I wanted a new counter top and I explained that the old one had 2-3 cracks. They indicated that perhaps the current counter top could be repaired vice replaced. After some discussion I emailed them several photos of the damage. After examining the photos, they said they would get back to me within 24 hours, which they did and quoted me a price 75% less than replacement price. I agreed to the work.
The work was performed very professionally. They arrived on time, showed my wife color samples of the repair material and went about their business. They suggested some additional work, checked the cost with their office, told me how much and I approved the additional work. Approx. $300 above original cost.
The counter tops look like new and I saved approximately $2000.

All went well. They explained everything to me before the work was done, on the phone and then when they arrived. Would definitely use them again, if I had the need!

Paul my tech arrived on time and called with 20-25min notice that he was en route. He got together all his supply's front his work truck and got to it. He did everything as expected and was good about dust collection and clean up. Before leaving he gave me some tips about how to install my new sinks (drop in style) and how to caulk them properly. I was very satisfied with Heartwood. I called and talked them and gave the general idea of what I wanted. They asked for emailed photos to do an estimate. I work in a hospital and am hard to reach via phone, they were cool with emailing back and forth. They promptly gave me an estimate and also scheduled in the same week! They don't take credit cards which was a bummer.
While Paul was there I asked about doing a Corian tub top surround. He said they'll email me in the next week to give me a quote.

Heartwood was recommended by Reico Kitchen and Bath in Springfield, VA, my cabinet supplier. I'd originally considered engineered quartz but when three styles I chose turned out to be backordered I took a fresh look at the Corian offerings and chose a Private Collection style in Clamshell. The material is one and a half inches thick with the plywood backing so it replicates the solid look of stone countertops, even around the sink, where Heartwood also built it up. I have gotten so many compliments on it, especially from people who don't realize there are alternatives to granite. I give kudos to my Heartwood office contact Stephanie, who was so helpful in sending photos, and my installer Paul. The work is beautiful.

Two workers came on the requested day, within the timeframe they predicted. They removed the old heavy sink and took it away. Because of the cement to hold the old stone sink in place, they couldn't just use their table saw but had to use a jigsaw or saber saw where the cement clips were. While they attempted to capture (and vacuum up) the Corian dust, it got all over the kitchen (including the very tops of cabinet doors and the range hood.) Other than that, their work was of excellent quality and I would recommend them to other Angie's List members. Overall, it took about 2 hours for them to complete the job. For two of them, the price was reasonable.

The estimate was handled by email, which saved a good deal of time. Don, the owner, asked for pictures and measurements and was able to provide the total cost of the job. The work was scheduled a week after contact. Two men were sent to do the job and it was efficiently completed in less than three hours. Great care was taken to respect our home, with careful attention to keeping dust to a minimum and maintaining cleanliness.

Very knowledgable, repaired and resurfaced our countertop. They fixed things I didn't even see that needed fixed. They were the best priced. They did everything to make sure I was happy. The job was spectacular and my countertops are 20 years old.
