They came 3 times in 14 months to service my old gas furnace. Still had problems with it running correctly. They came fairly quickly . Called Gills for new furnace estimate. He fixed it while here . I’m switching service providers.

I highly recommend them. They are a family business. They are a small, local company. We pay them for our annual service. We have used them for six years. They always try the less expensive approach. I always have the same technician, so he knows me and and my furnace and air conditioner. Their prices are reasonable.

They were so professional.  I was concerned that when the unit started it sounded like a jet plane taking off.  Now they could have come in to tell me that a new motor was needed for the unit.  I would have believed them.  But instead it was explained why it made a noise and that it was fine.  When I got ready to pay ($105) I was asked if we had a boiler system (due to the set up of the air conditioner unit thermostat).  I said "yes".  Was told that for $195 a year both units could be put on a maintenance program.  Both units will be checked at appropriate times.   That if there is a problem that requires an after hour visit the usual flat rate will be charged; not overtime.  There are some other perks with the program.

Furlong's did an outstanding job with this project. We got multiple bids, and Mr. Furlong was the only one who was interested in what we really needed, as opposed to just selling us something. One competitor quoted us an almost exactly equal price, but for less hardware and less labor. The attic of this cottage had existing heat ducts from a previous hot-air furnace, and Mr. Furlong was the only person who suggested an attic-located unit to hook up to the existing duct work, which provided an excellent solution.
The workers were all polite and competent, and did an excellent job of putting down tarps and completing the job with no mess. There was literally no clean-up for us to do afterward. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the overall installation was done very professionally.
One of the things that impressed me most about Furlongs was that I asked them for references, and one of the people I called was a building contractor, who builds multiple homes each year. He told me he bids out all his subcontractor work -- except for HVAC. He said, "for that, I just call Furlong's and give them the address. I know it will be done right and at a good price." You can't get a better recommendation than that.
The system has been working flawlessly since then.

Our central air conditioning unit was not generating cool air. As we did not have a heating/AC contractor we used Angies list (first time) and selected Furlong's based on the A rating and comments provided by past customers.
The service technician (Chuck) arrived within the specified timeframe and conducted himself in a very professional manner, changing shoes before entering our house.
I described the situation and he quickly identified the problem as low R22 Freon probably caused by a leak in the system which is very common in older systems as they tend to rust. Chuck mentioned that he had a possible solution to the leak issue (stop leak).
I told him hat we would consider this. He added the R22 to the system and immediately began pushing cool air, all within 1 hour after his arrival.
In regards to the cost. We thought the service charge was within reason. The cost of the R22 charge we felt was high at the same time we are aware that R22 is being phased out and is expensive to purchase by service companies.
As we were not familiar with Furlong's, Chuck provided us with a brief history and also stated he has worked for them for 20 years and said it was the best company around and it was the best decision he ever made going to work for them.
As far s we concerned, a company couldn't ask for a better compliment when an employee of 20 years speaks that highly of it.
Yes, we will use them in the future.

Wonderful service, would not hesitate to refer people to them.

They charged $290 for a spring check and a fall check. One worker came out. The service was outstanding, and they were extremely prompt. We have had them for about 12 years now, and we have not had any problems. When we have a problem, we call them, and they come out and fix it.

Learned about Furlongs from a co-worker who used them for a system replacement. Called for an estimate / inspection. Byron (son) called and scheduled a time to come to the house. He could not have been more helpful, professional, and knowledgable. He inspected both upstairs and downstairs systems, took pictures, and made recommendations. Within a week had a written quote electronically. I confirmed, and signed off on quote to do the downstairs system. A week later, got a call from Landon (father), who said they had an opening in schedule and could do the install in next week. The crew showed up, performed the install, cleaned up after themselves, and we're finished in 4 hours. Excellent job. I'm having them back in December to replace the upstairs system.

Multiple visits to repair mini-split, but they persevered. Then other heat pump went bad.  Fixed both.

They are always fair in their pricing. They have always showed up. They have always done good work. I have recommended him to several people.
