There were a few days before he could take my car to look at it, but I decided to wait and take it to him anyway. I'm glad I did. It was easy to drop my car off and he checked it out and discussed the issue with me promptly.

My transmission has been acting up so I made an appointment to get a price on what a repair would cost. They were courteous, professional and priced reasonable. Brian diagnosed my transmission and even called people within his network to get some creative ideas on the most cost efficient means in which to resolve the problem.

Replaced engine. Excellent job done even faster than expected. No surprise charges. Excellent people to deal with.

Brian and his wife run a mom and pop operation. Great folks, good price, and great job. He quoted me a reasonable price , after i had told him what i needed. He broke all the work down per gm's schedule of service. I was happy with his price and work. I have found a mechanic for the future. Williamsburg Auto Repair doesn't advertise, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

To find a good mechanic you can trust is a difficult task, especially when you are a women with limited mechanical knowledge. I was first referred to Brain at Williamsburg Automotive Repair when my son's late model Ford left him stranded and had to be towed. Anticipating the worst and trying to decide how much money we were willing to invest in the repairs, what we actually received was exceptional customer service and a clear concise explanation of the problem (which turned out to be relatively minor). The costs of repairs were lower than other local estimates (I called around), the vehicle was ready earlier than expected, and the problem was corrected the first time. My son and I could not have been more impressed with Brain's knowledge, consideration for our concerns and professional handling of our service needs. We have since had preventative maintenance performed on both my son's vehicle and my own, and highly recommended Williamsburg Automotive Repair to anyone looking for a remarkable mechanic with integrity
