We have 2 units that are still under warranty. We have been using those guys for 20 years. We know them and they have done good work for us. There is no problem. The pricing is high, but all those guys are high. They are high quality.

My friend called several places and Weathercrafters was the only business that would come out the same day. She told me that the technician was highly professional and courteous and not only were the charges not high ( at least not compared to the area I had recently moved from in Northern Virginia), but they also said they would bill me rather than have my friend pay upfront. I was quite impressed with the overall service and have read all the reviews on Angie's List. Their overall score was a "C" but I know how one or two people with a bad experience – – or at least a perceived bad experience – – can bring down a good rating, and I believe that is the case here. Out of the 12 reviews nine were an "A" and the others a "D". Reading into the text of each review I realize this is company is probably pretty good. I have now contracted with them for a one year's service contract. I will review them at the end of the year. I look forward to it being successful.

Service technician complained about having to service attic unit and wanted to refuse to change air filters in the ceiling.
He then tracked dirt throughout the house telling me he did not want to get his socks dirty. I called to complain and the owner noted I had complained before,;offered to refund unused portion of annual fee; and invited me to find another supplier.
Given his attitude and that of the technician, I have done just that. Will never use this company again.

Thier repair lasted about a month and the unit wasn't blowing cold air again. We called in another company to get a second opinon and they replace on part at the cost of $83 and the system is running just fine.

"I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us. After reviewing the call with our service manager, your system was totally out of refrigerant. The high cost is due to the cost of the refrigerant. Our technician was asked to "pump up the system and see what does". We added leak detection dye and desired to return to find the leak in the system. The $83 part that another company installed may or may not have fixed the leak in the system. I hope for your sake that it did. I tell all of my customers that if they feel that they were improperly charged to call me directly and we can discuss the bill or future work needed. Jim Smith Jr. - Vice President"

I was away at work while my wife was home. All crew members worked professionally and quickly. All the replaced equipment was taken away and the entire area's were left without damage, all leftover materials were taken away. Everything was left in excellent condition. This provider did exactly everything they said they would do. I reviewed the installation on my arrival and found everything was done to my complete satisfaction, and very professionally done as well. All wire routing and tubing routing all done in a professional manner. Everything was quoted and all costs were within the quotes. All communications were complete and quick.
I would hire this provider again in a heartbeat.

They are awesome. I've been using them for years. They installed the equipment here. I had a home owner policy and when I had some trouble, I had to go to somebody else who screwed it up and Weather Crafters was able to just forgive me to going to somebody else. They are great. I get priority service.

Weathercrafters installed my hvac systems when we built the house over 30 yrs. ago. I have used them to do all my repair service since then. This time when the heat went out, I called and had to wait 1 day before they could get to me. Fortunately it wasn't too cold and we had the upstairs unit working. This is not the only time they repaired wires in the same area of the unit. This time they replaced it with a heavier duty wire. I wish they could have checked to see if more wires needed replacing when they were here on a previous visit. Overall, I have been very satisfied and will continue to use them in the future.

Technician arrived on time, explained what he was doing and what the results meant. Most of the cost was for the discontinued R-22 refrigerant, which was very expensive and very low. I doubt that any had been added in the 14-year life of the unit.
