Walmart

My fiance and I went to go get some groceries and my car wouldn't start. Needless to say he jumped my car and we headed to Walmart to do our shopping, and due to what happened to also get a new battery. I already knew that I needed a new battery, but had been waiting a bit to try to spread out spending. Well, that didn't work so off we went to the Walmart auto department as soon as we arrived.
We verified that they had the battery I needed for my car and then waited to check in. After waiting about 5-10 minutes I tell them that I need a new battery. At first, I was told that they were not taking any more customers for the night (it was about 6pm). I asked if there was any way to get me in as I needed a jump just to get there. They said maybe and took me out to the service bay where I asked the manager in there and again mentioned how I needed a jump just to get my car there.
Well, it worked and they said okay! So, off my fiance and I went to do our grocery shopping while we waited for them to change out my car battery. When all was said and done we finished shopping before the battery was switched out, but with other cars being worked on as well that was not to surprising. All in all I was very happy and glad that they were able to squeeze me in.

After telling us on the phone that the tires were in stock, we arranged to meet there after work to have the work done. After waiting in line forever, we finally got to the register just to be told that, and quot;Maybe I better go outside and check to make sure that the tires are actually here. A lot of times the computer will say they are, but then they're not really. Last time it said I had 14, and there weren't any out thereand quot;. So of course, there weren't any out there. Just a head's up...if you're calling to see if they have what you want, ask them to go out and verify it (not by computer) before making the trip.
They did try to rectify the situation by calling back and offering more expensive tiers for the same price.

Walmart takes back anything if there is something wrong. If you have your receipt, they give you cash back or you can exchange with something else. And if you don't have your receipt, they give you credit.
