It was good. They show up on time and they do a good job. They show up. They're very responsive, so if you call the office, they get back to you. We are continuing to use them on a continuing basis.

We use them year round.

Went well.  I was afraid that the knuckleheads who worked on it before had messed it up, and I was right.  The Total Landscape firm confirmed my suspicions, identified the issues, and scheduled a time to return to address the issues.

Irrigation service went great. The showed up on time and were pleasant to deal with. They talked through their process and helped me to determine the right amount of time for the sprinklers to be on in certain areaas. Highly recommend!!!!!

This is the first time I used Total Landscapes. They were on time. We also needed something fix, someone else brought the part to the technician so there wasn't any delays. I think their price is good. They had better prices.

Office manager was very responsive, communicated via e-mail and telephone calls to set up appointment for inspection and estimate for cost of work. John arrived at the appointed time, provided a verbal cost estimate and later followed up with written estimate. Work crew arrived on time, conducted walk through of the area then went to work. Workers were courteous, worked quickly, and efficiently. They were well equipped for the work. The crew chief walked me through an inspection of the area before leaving. Everything was done was agreed and I was very pleased with the outcome. Would highly recommend Total Landscapes, Inc based on my experience with them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Everything went fine. They did a good job. They did what they said, they showed up. They were pretty reliable and there were no surprises on the price.

They were very professional. Always called and let us know when there were delays due to weather and rescheduled promptly. Workers were excellent and always cleaned up at end of each day. We had a lot of work done and were very pleased with the whole process and end product. We have them coming to do some additional work next month. We would highly recommend them

Due to our budget, we wanted to incorporate some of our existing pavers and brick into the new plan and it worked out great.

In a nutshell, very well. The only problem was that I did want and need they to start asap. On the day of the survey, I was told that they could start in 7-10 day, which was great as I had wanted to use the patio 1-2 times before cold weather set in (which I didn't get to do). I will say that it was not entirely their fault as the weather really got cold much earlier, and perhaps I should have asked to do it first.
I called as that time approached and no arrangements had been made. Something had come up and their vacation waylaid the work.
Once they got started, they worked quickly and all day. It was impressive. Then the plans went into effect for the patio. We chose the pavers, a basketweaving pattern, and the site. When the work started (about a week later), many changes took place. I was unable
due to illness to attend to the job. The site was changed due to a drainage problem, which I appreciated, but the basketweave was
forgotten (I would just suggest that it all be written down); and I really was looking forward to the and quot;level with the groundand quot; patio we had agreed to. That was disappointing as I know that I will need it level at sometime in the future. Also it will take more maintenance but the ground and quot;was too hard to digand quot;. I knew that the ground was hard, and would have been willing to have paid more to have it dug out by a
machine. But all and all, it was beautiful. I'm very pleased with the results of all their hard work, and would definitely use again.

Took a day or two to contact, but once contacted were very responsive, on time for estimate and for work. Work done promptly and well. Very satisfied with all aspects of the transaction.

We have used Total Landscapes since we bought our home in October 2011. They have been exceedingly helpful and their recommendations for planting and design, including the replacement of concrete pavers at the end of driveway with beautiful Colonial stacked stonework which improves the curb appeal of our home. Initially we were not really certain about the stonework--we just were not familiar, but they brought several of the stones for us to see and it was clear to us that their recommendation was exactly what we had wanted. They go the extra mile to ensure that their recommendations meet our ideas/expectations. This work was separate from the other work and not reflected in the approx cost listed in this reveiw.
They recently replaced 5 Knockabout rose bushes that had been planted in Feb and failed to germinate---their plants come with a one-year warranty. As soon as we indicated to them that the roses did not look as if they were growing, they came to inspect and immediately replaced them. The new rose bushes are growing and very hearty.
Some of our lawn was very boggy and oftentimes after rain, we would have standing water in the yard. Total Landscapes recommended a soil additive that is used on athletic fields to manage moisture and compaction. They applied one treatment and will apply another if need be. It has improved the yard lawn considerably.
Their maintenance of our irrigation system keeps our consumption of water low and incorporates the use of a wireless rain sensor. We appreciated the time and thought that Total Landscapes personnel put into modifying the irrigation cycle which we thought was excessive--they really simplified things. They also handled our irrigation system reporting to James City County.
We are very delighted with their ideas, quality, workmanship, professionalism and pricing.

From start to finish it was great. great company to work with

Everything went quite well.

I have them under contract for $120 month. They do everything in the garden and yard which is mowing, mulching, fertilizing, and bed and irrigation maintenance. They get high ratings and I will continue to use them.
