Top Notch Tree Services

A Top Notch has done work for me in the past. Like always, I was very satisfied with their work and their demeanor. I have referred them to my family, in-laws, and coworkers and everyone has been equally impressed. I always get three quotes and A Top Notch is always the cheapest! They clean the work site very well. They are very timely and professional and they communicate well.

Very well Used bucket truck to remove dead branches, but saved my lawn by using a motorized cart for moving fallen tree.

they had free time on wedsnday ( they were scheduled thursday) they called and asked if ok.they arrived on time started work on removing the largest tree. they did great work had it done by 11:00 that day plus cleanup. started on other trees and completed that before leaving had the trees cut and cleaned up in one day. they did a great job were very curtiouse,and prfessional.

High winds snapped the trunk of a red maple tree about 15 feet above the ground a few minutes before midnight on Friday, June 29.The tree landed partially on the roof of my house and partially against another tree. I was leaving for a week-long vacation the next morning. Before leaving I checked the roof and saw that no limbs had penetrated. I called Top Notch Tree Service while on the road on Saturday and asked them to come by and give an estimate for removing the tree, hopefully before I returned home. They had done work for me on several previous occassions. They called that evening, said they would need to bring in a front loader to hold up the tree trunk while it was being worked on, that the cost would be $550, and that they could have it removed before I returned home in a week. I agreed. I phoned both of my next-door neighbors to inform that work would be done while I was on vacation. The next evening one of my neighbors called to say that the work had completed that afternoon in about an hour by a crew of six men. When I arrived home several days later, I found that the tree was gone and all debris had been removed. I continue to be very happy with the work of Top Notch Tree Service and will call them again if I need tree removal service.

The job went both positive and negative. Their approach to the job was good. Their price was excellent. When they were taking the tree down they hit another tree. It put a major scar on the tree they hit. I thought this was avoidable. They rushed the job. They did a good clean up. If they had used their skills and took their time, I don't think that they would have hit the other tree.

I would highly recommend them. The area where I live is surrounded by trees. The owner is Tom Napier. I would give them the highest recommendation. The man is extremely competent and punctual. His prices are really reasonable and he is the best I have found. His company not only does business in Williamsburg but in areas around Williamsburg. My neighbors recommended him to me and through out the years I am very pleased with him. The price depends on the size of the tree and the height of the tree. It also depends on the size of the stump. I live in a gated community and so I cannot do more than what they allow me to cut. He has been telling me if you cut all of the trees at once it would be a better price. I am waiting to use him because the hurricane left some trees which I have to remove and he is going to come once more to do the job in the next few weeks.
