They were really busy, they made time to come out. The guy that came out was actually the owner. They came out, company car, dressed, did the inspection and gave us a date that they would be able to do it, when it would be done by. He was very, very professional and lived up to everything he said. The other guys we had rolled out looking like they had just crawled out of a mosh pit and with a hangover. There was another guy that I didn’t need and A) you get back in your car and keep moving, don’t brother. These guys are great. His price was a higher than the average, but the quality of the work and the guarantee came with. I didn’t mind going a little bit higher. It was about $500 lesser than the other folks. He’s the most expensive. The ones we got, all the priced quotes $5,500 to $6,500. He said, to be honest with you I can’t do it for any less than $7,000, but I could give you a 5-year workmanship guarantee and your products are good for life, so I couldn’t really argue with that. In fact, I’m getting ready to use them again I think. They’re courteous, professional and they’re on time, which you know roofing guys can be hit or miss.

Was told that the request would be forwarded to the applicable person who would call me to schedule. I never received a call back.

I called Square 1 and got Jack who asked me to send a picture of the roof and shingle.  I didn't have a replacement shingle so they re-installed the shingle and patched it into place the next day.

Very well. Team showed up as scheduled. Completed work. Left clean job site. Most important, they accurately identified the problem which was causing the leak.

Very well. No water entered the house since October

I recently moved into my house. Not long thereafter, I noticed a water stain around an HVAC register next to a skylight. I scheduled an inspection with another A-rated roofer from Angie's List. He said the only solution was to replace the skylight for $1200. Seeking a second opinion, I had John from Square 1 inspect my roof and the leak. He took me into the attic and showed me there were no signs of leakage around the skylight. He also inspected it from the top-side of the roof. The water stain is above a jetted bath tub. The register and a nearby plant hangar are rusty. John suggested the rust is from steam from the jetted tub, particularly when it condenses on the cool AC register. Being new in the house, I do not know its history, so John suggested tracing the stain in pencil to monitor it. It's a few weeks later now, and there have been many very rainy days. So far, the stain remains within the pencil tracing.
Square 1 is honest.
