Yes, I recommend this pro
It has been great. They are the least expensive. Nobody can come near what he charges. They provide good service and good quality. They are very personable. They do our front and back yard as well as edging around the driveway. They clean up very well. He also took away a lot of rocks and stones that we had laying around. He is very easy to work with and bends over backwards to make sure we are satisfied.

There are almost too many problems with this company than I can adequately describe. First problem was the contract. We signed it and gave them a check for half payment of a little over 10,000.00. They never put in the completion date of the contract. We signed the contract in April 2010 and after inumerable delays, excuses, and failed promises we terminated the contract in November 2010. We were left with an incomplete paver job, some digging for concrete driveway forms (zero concrete) no deck work at all. Southern Landscaping took our 10,000.00 and did almost nothing after over six months of stringing us along. You can check on the Virginia State Corporation Commission's webpage and discover that our experience is not unique. Southern Landscaping apparently uses the same technique with others....get a very large downpayment, don;t fill in all the contract information and then delay, delay, delay. Excuses included eye surgery (three times) mother in rest home (twice) weather (too many times to count and the weather last summer was pretty dry). Too hot, too cold. Owner's teenage daughter needed attention. ON and ON and ON. Totally dishonest bunch of people. Buyer beware!
