Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located near Williamsburg, VA. Our professional and courteous staff at Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for our highly-valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital strives to offer excellence in veterinary care to Williamsburg, VA and surrounding areas. We are an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Since 1993, we have regularly undergone evaluations by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association’s high quality standards of care. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Approximately 15 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA.

I've been with them for 14 years now, and they are outstanding. I board my dog there all the time. Over the 15 years I've had  probably six dogs that they've taken care of over that time. I had five dogs at once, now I have one. I do all my medical and just about everything, they euthanized dogs that were ill, took care of dogs with tumors. They offer a complete service. I buy dog food there.

Companion was found to have mastized cancer not what we wanted he did the best he could an found what was wrong but it is untreatable. Sent her home with meds an placed in hospice care at home he did do test on tissues so we know where we are at with the cancer. Was a sad day for everybody.
The Vet an his assistants are compassionate, an care about their patients. They were very up front with her prognosis an future care.

The staff was good, and made me feel welcome. The doctor knew what he was doing ,and you could tell he cared for the animals, and for the people around him. We're glad we found the place. I later found out the vet had been practicing in Williamsburg longer than any other veterinarian...My dog liked him.

I moved to Williamsburg nearly 2 years ago and needed a vet for my 4 cats. The vets and the staff have been great. Dr. Sprenkel saved the life of one cat who became very I'll suddenly, and she is thriving. They have been great to 2 elderly Siamese cats. I also board cats there when I travel. They are not inexpensive, but worth it. I highly recommend them

The entire staff was great. The layout of the practice is very animal friendly. We were happy to see the animal boarding area through the glass wall.
The only issue we hit was a wait of a little over half an hour to see the vet. I'm sure Monday mornings at vet's offices can be as crazy as Monday mornings at doctor's offices but the wait was definitely a downer.
We saw Dr. Shackleford and she was great with our cat, very knowledgeable, patient and answers any question or concern we had.

Have been with them over one year. The staff and the doctors are perfect with dogs, do not use muzzles unless absolutely necessary, and even then they try without first. I have a large (85 lb) dog, and they treat him like one of their own. He has had shots, minor surgery, and split nails, and he never runs away from them. They are kind, considerate, and have the best staff that I have seen. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a vet.

Fantastic! They are an incredible staff and truly care about the people AND the animals. My dog loves going there! The visits begin with going over what they plan on doing during the visit, then they visit with my dog (sometimes giving him treats), they perform whatever's needed, then explain to me, in detail, exactly what's happened and what I can expect.

They were very kind. They performed the operation in a very humane way and it was not as uncomfortable for me as I thought. They even sent me a card afterwards which I thought was very sweet on their part. I also take my other dogs to these guys and they are always excellent.
