I was third in line for state inspection. I got there about 2 minutes before the opened. They do not take appointments for state inspections so it's first come first serve. The wait time to get my vehicle inspected was a lot less than I had thought it would be. Every person I came into contact with was very professional and knowledgeable!
I used to go to Howard Motor Company with my other vehicles and when I bought this new vehicle last year I went to the dealership. I much prefer a small local business than a large nationwide dealership. Howard Motor Company will continue to get my business and my referrals!

Everything went well. They have fair prices and they are very honest people.

They are pretty honest about their findings..a little pricey on some things. .but if you buy your own parts they will just charge for labor and they wont do anything that isn't needed and they'll tell you upfront if they find something wrong. .

They are honest, trustworthy and my favorite place to get my cars worked on. Dropped off my car Thursday night, called me around 9:30 Friday morning to tell me the work was done.

I would not take my car anywhere else. When I was single, I did not feel they were taking advantage of me and they are very trustworthy. I have recommended them to many people. They are less expensive in some cases and they are right in line on other services. When you come in they know you by name.

I dropped the truck off on the way to work, was called mid-afternoon and informed it was fixed. They replaced/rebuilt 3 hangers. We have been a long-time customer of Howard's. They do excellent work at a good price and offered less expensive options; for example, tires needed replacing on a recently acquired used car and they suggested a different brand than the high-performance tires (we did not know that) on that vehicle. I cannot imagine going somewhere else for service.

We have been bringing our cars to Howard's since we first moved here in 2006. Even when we lived in Portsmouth, VA for 2 1/2 years, we still brought our car up to Howard's for service because we trust them. On every occasion we have never been anything but pleased. They are always quick to get up in, even on weekends. They have always been fair with their pricing and we never feel pressured to get added services. Also, for people like us who are not 'car' people, they are always willing to explain the services they are doing or are suggesting to do.
