We had a terrible experience with a plumbing company that left us without hot water for over a week. We called Hathaway Electric to come out and diagnose the issue. The same morning they were able to come out to the house and remedy the problem (in under 10 minutes). I would recommend Hathaway Electric and will definitely be using them again in the future.

They're very good as well. The technician is extremely qualified, helpful, and friendly.

If there was an A+ rating, we'd give it to them. They went above and beyond and every person, from the owner to office staff to the men who did the installation were professional, friendly, efficient and courteous. It was the hottest day of 2017 (so far!) too and they went above and beyond to provide us with stellar service. We are very happy.

they work very professional, punctual, and more.  I was very pleased with Hathaway generators.

I called and requested a review of the billing as the first payment of $125 had been for nothing and the 2nd visit would not have been necessary if the first man had found the problem. They said they would consider it. THEY DID NOT CALL BACK. So today(12 Feb 2016) I called for an explanation. The owner called back and refused all compromise. I told him it was not good PR and would not be using his firm again

Mr Hathaway came out for the initial inspection and quote.  He got back to me the next day with a proposal which was great.  The office staff was helpful, and when I had a question on the switches I got one of their installers on the phone to walk thru the types of switches available.
Work set up and completed as promised, with no issues.  Had one person most of the day and second person came out to help with the heavy stuff. 
So far it's worked as planned.  Very happy with price, service, and performance

We had Hathaway Electric install a whole home generator. The install went well - they were on time and did exactly what they promised. There were some issues with the new technology but they kept us informed and everything turned out in the end. I would use Hathaway again for any electrical need.

Showed up a few minutes early, worked in the rain (had a big umbrella with him), explained what he was doing and what I should do myself later.

Installation crew were prompt and efficient. They handled all permits and finished on time. Very professional and Steve Hathaway came out to inspect the installation. No glitches and the price of the product was much better than the competitors. Very pleased in the whole process. .

Prompt and professional. Power has not gone off since the generator was installed, so I don't know yet how it will respond to an outage, but the generator comes on and runs for 20 minutes every 2 weeks as programmed. Less noisy than I expected. Not so great a job repairing the sheet rock in the garage. Employees were here all day doing the installation and really seemed to know their business. Nice office staff.

We have been pleased with the purchase, installation, service. We are glad that we made the decision to buy.



|The company has been very reliable. The Kohler generator was delivered and installed with a bent hinge or hinges to the lid, making closure and locking difficult. However, Hathaway was persistent in resolving to our satisfaction by obtaining and inserting new parts--no charge, of course. They have been comprehensive in instruction and attention to detail. We plan to use them on ongoing basis for periodic service and any necessary trouble-shooting or repairs.

They were there on time - actually able to meet us earlier, but called first. The technician was friendly, courteous and efficient. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem.

They are outstanding, locally owned and are prompt. Their prices are reasonable and they are reliable. I would highly recommend them.
