Terrible experience, this is the email I sent to Casey Toyota GM. Good morning Mr. Shebelski, I’m a huge Toyota fan, the reliability and the quality of the cars are amazing. In addition I belive the Toyota dealers are honest and open with everything related to the vehicle. My previous experiences with Casey Toyota were really good. However yesterday I bought a used 2019 Avalon from Casey Toyota, and I’m having a really bitter/sweet taste with the experience. In my humble opinion as a customer you have some work to do with your staff. 1. I’m having a conversation with Mr. Miles and out of nowhere Mr. Howard McCoy jumped into the conversation in a really rude and unprofessional way to use one of the "sales tactics”. (Friday/26June2020). 2. The Sales personnel (Miles and John) said the car will be cleaned/detailed for me before I arrived to test drive it and move on with the purchase. When I got there (Saturday/27June2020)The interior of the car was dirty, some kind of greasy product was all over the driver sit headrest and the engine compartment was nasty never touched/cleaned. 3. Sales associate (John) provided a NO open recall paperwork, to my surprise when I research a recall is OPEN for the vehicle. 4. During the buying process I requested a Carfax report to double check the Casey Toyota claim of the car has a clean Carfax report, However I never received the CarFax report. To my surprise when I got home and signed-in into the Toyota Connect App Service (that I purchase) the service history shows: a. 18FEB2019 Body & Paint work b. 15MAY2019 AllState FAB/Paint work done I believe this is the reason I never got the CarFax report that I was promised by John. 5. Finally I’m moving all my personal items from my previous vehicle to the Avalon. The sales associate said you have almost a full tank of gas; when I got in the car and start driving I noticed that the fuel level was 3/4 not almost full. I’m really disappointed, and I feel that Casey Toyota personnel lie / hide information during the buying process. As a Military Officer with 24 years of service and 5 deployments/tours to defended the Nation and the Freedom we all enjoyed I feel cheated and disgusted to serve this Country for people like this. I want to believe that Mr. Arthur S. Casey will disapprove this type of Business Practices. I will be at the Casey Toyota dealer today Sunday/28JUN2020 when the doors open, trying to resolve this issue. Hopefully I can see you there or you contact me ASAP.

There wasn't any real work done, it was just the state inspection. I would give them an "A" all the way through. It took about 45 minutes. There wasn't anything wrong with my vehicle.

I was not happy with the experience. I went into the dealership looking for a specific car advertised on their web site. No one greeted me when I entered the dealership. I approached a person who turned out to be a mechanic returning keys to the key kiosk who directed me to a used car salesman at his desk. I waited by this mans desk for several minutes while he conducted what was obviously a personal call. He could not locate the car on the lot which I had come to see. When I inquired about another car I had seen on the lot he could not find the keys. I gave him my specifications for the car I wanted to buy and he promised to call. It has been been over 10 months now and I am still waiting for that phone call from him. I subsequently purchased a vehicle from another dealer.

Purchased 2 new vehicles from this dealership previously. Experienced the usual negotiations rodeo and final "a bit better than mediocre" deal this time on another new vehicle. However, situations that upset me during this new vehicle sale had more to do with  financing procedures than negotiations with the salesperson. A couple of days after the sales contract was signed and completed, I got a call from their finance manager. I was told that before a payoff can be made to the lienholder (credit company) on my trade-in, I must make a missed payment to them. Failure to do so, I was told, would result in penalties and all kinds of bad things.Sure enough, my online statement from the credit company indicated "past due." I called the credit company. They told me that the payoff on my trade has not been received from Casey, but when it is received, I do NOT owe any missed payment. To remove this past due statement from the credit company, Casey must submit the payoff on my trade in, hopefully soon. To aggravate the situation and delay payment even longer, I noticed an error on my sales agreement for the payoff amount. During the next week or so in an effort to hasten the trade in payment I called the Casey finance manager several times, stopped in to the dealership twice, FAXed the correct payoff amount, contacted the salesperson for assistance and sent an email to the general manager. This whole screwup was finally resolved in a little over two weeks. My complaint is that no one, not even the general manager, had the courtesy to contact me about what was going on during this period of time.
. As I already mentioned, I purchased three new vehicles (within five years) from this Casey dealership. Customer / Toyota loyalty doesn't seem to mean much to these folks.

I lost my master keys for 2003 Toyota Avalon SLE while on a motorhome trip on the weekend of April 16-20.  After looking everywhere for the keys I call the service desk at Casey Toyota.  I gave them all the information about the my  2003 Avalon SLE and asked if the could make new keys. I was told yes and was told to bring ID and the registration.  I drove our other car to Casey's and went to the parts desk.  I gave him the registration with the VIN number.  He made me 2 keys and charged $21.00.
I went home and found the new keys opened the doors, trunk, but would not start the engine. I call the service department and was told to get the car towed over and they could make the correct new keys.  AAA towed me over. After over an hours I was very nicely told that the keys could not be replaced without replacing the in car  computer for $1400.00 plus labor. There was no other way. There was no offer to take back to wrong keys and return my money. AND no suggestion that there was another way to make new keys at a much lower cost. I left the car at Casey's while I considered my options. The car's value with keys is only $5000.00
The next day I happened to be at the a motorhome store I use, and happened to meet my RV insurance agent.  He suggested calling the local office for Pop-A-Lock. He thought they did work that I needed.  I called on Friday. On Sunday afternoon they went to the lot at Casey's with  me and with the proper equipment to reset the computer, made 2 keys.  The cost $400.00.

While they knew exactly what the car was coming in for they did not have parts in stock, so my scheduled maintenance resulted in a 20 mile round trip to be told I would have to reschedule. One would think that if the parts were not in stock that i might have been called for a reschedule. On the reschedule day I had the car there BEFORE the scheduled appointment time in the morning. I was told that the work was time consuming and that they would need the car until late in the afternoon. When I called at 4:30 I was told that since I needed an oil change they would need it until the following day. The following day it was not ready until late in the afternoon.
A few days before this oil change I had gotten oil changed in my other car at Jiffy Lube for 39.95. When I scheduled the oil change with Casey I asked the cost and was told it would be 74.95. I told them about the Jiffy Lube price and was told that if I brought in the receipt that they would match the price. While I appreciated the price match it occurred to me that had I paid Casey 74.95 and then discovered the next day the forty dollar difference I would have felt cheated. I understand price matching, but that makes sense to me only when the prices are somewhat similar. A forty dollar difference implies that either Jiffy Lube is giving away oil changes (seems unlikely) or Casey Toyota is wildly overpricing this service.
Will I continue to patronize Casey Toyota? Yes, because they are the only Toyota dealer in my area.

This was a minor repair included in our purchase of a used vehicle, so it didn't cost us anything. But, I'd go back for other service later. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the waiting area was surprisingly pleasant, with Wifi, free coffee and snacks, and comfortable seating.

We found a reasonably priced used mini-van that was in great shape. The salesman worked with us to get the best financing. The process is always way too long, but they made it as painless as possible.

What I like about them is they send out rebate things that you can use towards repairs, and we have used them so you get discount on certain services. They are very honest. Our daughter brought her Forerunner to be checked in another auto shop. They told her that she need a major repair, but this company looked it over, and said that she did not need it.

While my car was on the lift at Casey Toyota, the service guy informed me that it needed a "rear brake adjustment, but not a change" and they had detected "condensation in the brake fluid line". He elaborated and told me that the car uses primarily front brakes (80%), but the rear brakes, although not critical that minute, did require adjustment to operate fully. He added that the car was currently on the lift, so they could take care of it immediately. Approx. cost: $70 for brake adjustment and $170 for fluid change.
I called another mechanic (a small and independent garage I have used before) and when I told him the issues and mileage, he thought it was odd that my car already needed the fluid change. His estimate for the services was also about $140 for both items. Needless to say, I
declined the extra services at Casey, but I did take it to another (third) mechanic (one that a friend recommended and has straight As on Angie's List). When I called the third mechanic and described the issues, he immediately asked if the assessment had come from a "dealership mechanic". I told him "yes". I subsequently took my car to the third mechanic and within 15 minutes of leaving it with them, they called and said everything was fine. The mechanic said the rear brakes were perfect, and there was no condensation, but they did add a small amount of brake fluid. I went to pay for their services/inspection and he did not charge me for it.
I can't help but think that Casey Toyota tried to sell me extra services for one or more reasons: 1) to help recoup some of the costs for moving to a brand new sparkling facility; 2) because my pre-paid maintenance package is almost finished; and 3) I am female.

I like that they are honest. They give me a list of things that need to be done, should be done, and things that can wait. I think that they are overpriced but overall I think they have a good staff and service.

I had a 7 AM appointment. this is my third time at the dealership and I have had a new service representative each time which sends up a red flag in my book. Their waiting room is part of the sales show room with sales and service folks all dealing in the same room. Each time I have been there the service reps confront the customer in front of all the other customers with whatever issue your car has. Now I personally don't care to have my issues discussed in front of the entire waiting room. It would be better to have the customer and the service rep go to a private area in my opinion.

They are excellent. The service went fine. The state inspection was around $24.00 for one and $12.00 for the other. It was minimal. We have had our cars serviced there since we bought them in 2007. I paid for both the cars. They are great. They do great service. They explain everything. We have never had a problem with them.

I prepaid the maintenance when I purchased my car, so I didn’t pay anything at this last oil change. When you go in for your appointment, you are taken in right away, and they even send you an email so you know when it is finished. They do a very efficient service. They take care of your car and they put mats in before they put their feet in it. I’ve had several cars with them and I keep going back because they are excellent. It's a good price but there are places that you can get your oil changed for cheaper. They are always on time and they are done when they say they are going to be.

My last bill was under $100. I bought my car from them about 12 years ago. So, I go there regularly to have it serviced. They generally do a good job. Overall, they are very good. Their price is not great or bad. They are average. The quality of their work is good. I would use their services in the future too.

CASEY TOYOTA are very up front. They let you know right away what needs to be done. They are very clear on the bill. They will drop you off and pick you up. I have had no problems. They are extremely easy at getting appointments and will see you for an emergency quickly.
