Agreed to meet me on short notice, Friday evening, to discuss the work.  Got started on the work within a week.  Property was unoccupied and I was not pressing hard for a specific completion date but I think they completed a lot of work in a relatively short time.  Pricing seemed very good but I didn't solicit other bids.  Very happy with Wes and will work with him again.

I called them on the first and they were supposed to come on the sixth to do the estimate.  They were supposed to call on the fifth to confirm and I never heard from them again.

Great service repairing our sunroom after damage from a falling tree limb. Took a while to get replacement casement windows. The ones we have are from the 80s and the don't make em like that anymore. Wes did a good job finding close matches. Similar story for a bit of aluminum siding that we replaced with vinyl. After the windows were in hand the job took about 2 days, and they worked through both days. No stopping and coming back in a week, etc. Did a good job cleaning up after both days too. Hauled away all the detritus. Very professional, small business, craftsman like.

Excellent.  The storm had just ended and we discovered one piece of siding had blown off the house, another was bent up away from the side of the home and a piece of siding in the soffit had blown off.  The missing pieces were still in the shrubs beside the home.  The soffit repair was at the very peak of the house, approximately 40 in the air.  The siding repair was about 25 to 30 feet high.
We called Caran on Monday morning, 9/3/11, and asked how soon they could come to fix it.  They agreed to come the same day and were there late in the afternoon.  The repair was accomplished perfectly.
We were very thankful for such responsiveness because we were very anxious to have the work done before the next rain.

High winds pulled a couple of large pieces of aluminum siding off our house, exposing a risk of water intrusion. The pieces were found laying beside the house on the lawn. We were very anxious to get it put back before the next rain, expected the next day. We called a number of companies and none were responsive until we reached Canan. They came out within a few hours and did the repair perfectly. In fact, they found a couple of other places on the home that also needed repair that we had not see. While there, they pointed out similar problems on two neighbor's homes. One of those neighbors was home and immediately agreed to pay Canan to fix their siding as well. The other neighbor was not home but the Canan rep found the missing piece on their lawn and took it up to the peak of their roof and reinstalled it. We told those neighbors about what Canan had done for them and they were happy to pay them for that service. They were very appreciative that Canan had taken the initiative to both identify the problem and then fix it for them. I was delighted with Canan's responsiveness and professionalism.

Superb workmanship

After initial struggles with approval from my insurance for the repair, they came in to do the demolition. This was supposed to be a simple 2 day job. Once into the demolition it was determined there was much more damage than what I and they had originally expected. Even so they took on the task and I renegotiated with my insurance to make the repairs. They did an excellent job, answered all my questions and worked with me in as far as scheduling their work around my work schedule. This is very respectful group of guys who rose to an unexpected challenge.

They did an excellent job and the price was good. When they started the job, they worked very hard to get it done. They cleaned up the mess after the job was done.
