Buggy Bathe Auto Wash, Lube & Detail Shoppe

Got my vehicle detailed. I found a tear in my seat once done. I spoke with Marcus who assured me it would be taken care of once he spoke with the manager. They gave me a day and everything to come back and get it fixed. I come back on that day and they tell me it will be $65 dollars to fix it and cash only. I just got the vehicle so I know it was not there before the service. Marcus told me we have nothing in out pockets that could rip a seat as he is dangling keys from his pockets. Told me no one is on the passenger side of the vehicle. This is my first time here as well and I purchased the monthly service. I would not recommend any place that does not stand by their word.

This time it went well, although other times I had the mechanics try to sell me things I didn't really need. They do the best job with the inside/outside car wash, so I go when my car needs a thorough cleaning, but it's pricey.

Thorough in the cab of the car but did not vacuum the deck of my SUV.

I have taken my Dodge Grand Caravan to them for the oil change on at least 5 occasions. Each time, they are usually fairly fast. However, I do have a few concerns on the service. Each time I have had my oil changed there, I have heard something different. The time before last, the mechanic came in with several large swabs with various fluids on them - such as radiator fluid, brake fluid and such. He told me that I needed to flush my radiator, change my brake fluid, as well as get the oil changed. All told, he was trying to sell me several hundred dollars in services. I told him not to do it right then. I went back a few months later to have the oil changed again, not having had any of the other services done yet, and that mechanic told me that he had checked all my fluids and they looked good. So, who was right? It made me question their services. As well, every time I got my oil changed there, they tried to get me to upgrade to special oil for larger vehicles - at a cost. I generally refuse. I just feel that they try to boost the cost up when it isn't necessary.

I made an appointment for 10 AM on 5/30/13 and brought the car in at that time. They were unable to give me an estimate of how long it would take, but said they would call me when it was ready. I called them at 5:45 PM and they had still not finished but thought they would by closing time and would call. I finally received a call at 7:15 PM and they said it was done, but they were closed. I told them I would pick it up the next day.
About 9 AM the next day, 5/31/13, I did go to pick up the car. The car had been parked under a tree and needed to be washed again. The car was washed again. But when I asked about two spots on the sun roof glass, the attendant said this was sap and her manager said there would be an extra charge for this. I did not believe there should be an extra charge if I am paying almost $200 for a COMPLETE detail. The sap was not removed, and I left. After leaving, I noticed that everything in my console was missing, and I returned to Buggy Bathe. They did not know where it was, but I located a bag in the trunk that contained the items from the console and the door pockets. Everything had been taken out of the console and door pockets and thrown into the bag. There was no attempt to put them back where they belong. The contents of the trunk were similarly removed and then thrown back in haphazardly.
