Apple Door Systems

Splendid. Punctual, cordial and professional. Examined garage door system in its entirety and evaluated reason for failure to open. Quickly discovered broken spring and determined remainder of system functioning well. Replaced spring, restoring garage to full functionality. Great work on a very hot and humid day. I'm totally satisfied and will use them again if needed.

My old garage door (at least 50 years) began to separate from the doorframe. Since I wanted to replace it with a new motorized door with remote control, Apple bid on such a door with installation. The price was competitive. It turned out that the doorframe was badly damaged and would need extensive repair. I was disappointed that Apple could not do that part or arrange to have it done as part of a total package. However I did arrange with a contractor for the doorframe repair and the installation of an electrical outlet needed for the motorized door; within a week of completion, Apple installed my new door. It has worked well since.
 At the same time that I asked for the garage door estimate, I asked for a bid on the installation of a storm door to replace the one at my front door. However, Apple's bid was close to double the bid for a similar door from Lowes; I had Lowes do that job, which was also quite satisfactory.

My 11 year old garage door spring broke one evening. I guess it was time for it to go. I called Apple and they made an appointment for the following day. The guys showed up on time (actually 2 minutes early). They immediately diagnosed the issue and quote the price to repair. I accepted the quoted price and they had a new spring on my door in under an hour. Very professional and I would use them again.

OUTSTANDING - from start to completion

Apple's estimate was 2/3 the cost of the initial estimate I had received and my neighbor also had used them with good results for his garage door. What I appreciated about them is that they gave me exactly what I wanted and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. I contacted Apple on their website and they sent us a timely estimate via email. The door, when it came from the manufacurer, was slightly smaller than it was supposed to be and the installer explained this issue to me and took the door away and figured out how to make the door work and we went there to look at their explanation/solutin and decided it was OK. They solved the problem very effectively and we're very happy with the door. Also, they gave us a military discount and some incentives because the door did not work initially due to the size.

These guys were open on a Saturday in December when we stopped in for a quote. Our old wood door of 18 years had just broken a torsion spring. The door we purchased was not in stock so we had a two week wait and the sales team arranged for us to get a loaner torsion spring installed so we could use the door while waiting for the new one to come in. It arrived between the holidays and we had it installed after New Year.
On the day they came to install it they briefed me on what they were going to do. They then began to remove the old existing wood door, replaced the springs, tracks and perimeter weather seals, adjusted the new door, cleaned up the work area and were complete within three hours. Both installers were very professional in appearance and demeanor, very knowledgeable about their product and were very good natured.
This company from the sales team to the installation team were wonderful and the door has been operating now for two months without a hitch and it is so quiet and with this cold weather, the insulation was a big help in keeping the cold out. It was a great experience overall.
Would recommend them to my fussiest friends without reservation.

What stands out is that my house is not white, it is an off color, and it is older and I thought that if I got white doors it would not look good. They call the color white, but it is an off white and it actually looks good with my house. It was a very pleasant experience and the guy did a good job. When the doors come down they hit the stuff that they put around the edges in the front, but other than that, the doors work. They are newer doors with a safety sensor so if something is in the door it will not come down. The price was good, they get an A for that because they weren't $2000. They were punctual and professional.

They salesmen was very professional and he gave me a lot more details then a competitor that came buy to give an estimate the next day. It was about three times the information. There price was even a little better. He explained the tax credit, the remote and sensor and the way the door would work. He gave a comprehensive explanation of how the door system would be involved. The product is great. I love it. The installation went very well. The tech was right on time. He knocked it right out. It was a very efficient and timely installation.
