When I found my water heater leaking in the garage on a Sat. night, I called a plumbing service that advertises 24/7 service, mainly to find out if this was something that could wait until Mon, or if it was an emergency, as it was a slow leak and I still had hot water. They never called me back. So on Mon. morning, I searched plumbers and found Prestige and its many excellent reviews. I called Todd, who said he could swing by my house, take a look, and let me know what I should do. In less than 20 min he was there, found out my tank had rusted through and without immediate intervention would start seeping through the wall. He shut off the gas to the tank, drained it, and turned off the water to the tank right then and there. He was back the next afternoon and all the work was done in less than 3 hours. I highly recommend him and he has a customer for life.

Super professional and polite. Did great work, cleaned up after his work perfectly. punctual and made good use of his time. You pay a little more, but the quality and peace of mind are there.

We had to wait a week to get them to come and install the toilet and when they came they were late getting here, which is understandable if they were held up on another call. They were polite and did a good job but I feel they charged way to much to just put in a toilet. I looked it up on line and my cost of the same toilet would have been $300. Since they are a contractor, I'm sure they got it cheaper. That means they charged $260 to install a toilet. My husband had everything ready for them to remove the old toilet and install the new one. The water was drained and turned off, so the only work they had to do was buy the toilet, remove the old one, and put the new one in. If my husband didn't have cancer, he could have done it himself.

Great! they gave us two options pay per hour or pay a contract price. We choose the contact price and were glad we did. The line was not where we thought it was so they had to do more detective work and had to dig another trench through yard. Prestige did a great job with the work. They had to go under a stone wall and were very careful not to damage it. Clean up seeding were all done very well.

As often happens with renovations, some things were unexpected. A lot of problems were related to replacing a shower stall that had never been installed properly and was leaking water. After removing the old stall I had Todd from Prestige look at what the builder had done. He found that the shower drain had not been installed correctly, and of course it was now embedded in concrete. Todd gave me advice as to what would have to be done to fix it properly. I rented some demolition tools and Todd carefully removed enough concrete to allow the new drain connection to be made. This was far from plumbing work but I was happy to hear that he had done it before. The new shower now looks and works great!
Several pipes had to be repaired or moved. A week or so after repairs were completed, one pipe started seeping. Todd came back and fixed the leak at no charge under warranty. But he went a step further and noticed that the water heater valve had started leaking as well. He did some tests and found that the water pressure reducer valve had failed and that was causing the pressure in the house to be double what it should have been. Todd was able to replace the valve with parts from his truck and the issue was resolved in one visit.
I'm very happy to have a plumber that is knowledgeable, professional, and stands behind their work.

Todd is our regular plumber so he comes once a year to check everything out and get the plumbing ready for winter. During his service visit, a problem showed up with some debris from our water heater when he drained it so he had to return to replace teh anode rod. When he came back, the anode rod was frozen so he couldn't get it out. He advised taht the problem may correct itself, but if not, we might need to replace the water heater. It's under warranty so that's not an issue. But we know from experience that Todd will not tell us he needs to do anything unless it really needs to be done.

You will not find a more reliable, quality plumber than Prestige . They do quality work at a reasonable price.

Todd has been to our house for a couple of reasons in the past few years. He has taken care of our drain backup that caused water to flood our downstairs bathroom whenever we ran water. This was a pretty big undertaking to excavate our outside line and clear out an aggressive tree root system. Most recently, he came to fix our upstairs bathroom faucet that was leaking under the sink. He is always prompt, beyond well mannered and neat. Todd and his employees take care to put on booties when they enter - and take them off when they exit to keep the booties clean when they re-enter - and show us what will need to be done, providing an estimate of time and cost involved. When we've had more routine appointments scheduled and he has an emergency come up, he contacts us as soon as possible to ask how we'd like to handle things. Wait, or reschedule, and he is most apologetic - but, believe me, we understand that when you have a plumbing emergency, it's an emergency! Of course, this has only happened once in the years that we've used him. His prices have always been reasonable and his demeanor most pleasant. I would recommend him eight days a week.
