 + -1 moreThe start of the project was good. Progress was made early on. The contractor was actively involved in managing the project. Problems started towards the last 2 months of the project when the finishing work started in the house. I set my move in date based on the contractors deadline (which had already slipped by a month). However the house was un liveable when I moved in. Also there was poor management on the project - cabinets that got delivered to the house got damaged, plumbing fixtures were lost, shelves and lighting fixtures could not be found. The contractor did not take any responsibility and put the blame on others around him. Also after he received final payment he refuses to answer any of my calls and help with any troubleshooting. I currently have some heat issues (the master bedroom is too cold) and also other issues with the house. I have tried reaching the contractor via email, phone and text but he does not respond. This was a big job and issues are to be expected.
Description of Work: The contractor was responsible for redesigning my house in Georgetown. The work involved re-configuring certain rooms and re-doing the bathrooms, kitchen and rooms in the house. Also the basement had to be re-furbished. Major electrical, plumbing and HVAC work was done in the house.
