Dr Morris is exceptional. He rinsed the wax from Mom's ears, which solved the feedback issue we'd been struggling with for quite some time. He patiently explained everything he was doing and why and advised on best practices for the future to ensure my mom gets the best possible hearing. Also, he was extraordinarily kind and thorough. We are so happy with Hearing Doctors and the life-changing service they provide.

Looking back, I have had a steadily deteriorating hearing for a number of years but I did not feel the urgency to have my hearing professionally checked. After I retired, my work as a volunteer required me to speak to a large groups of people in an auditorium-size room. I felt frustrated because I was not able to hear the questions audiences sitting in the back rows asked. I went to Accent and could not have a more satisfying experience. Dr. Anzola worked patiently with me. She and her assistant guided me through some of the new technologies developed in hearing aids, scheduled periodic appointment to check on my progress, and made me feel I was being taken care of every step of the way. Now I feel I can interact with audiences proficiently, which in turn makes me feel more confident.

Fine. Only caveat is that they tried to get me to buy hearing aids. I checked with an ENT doctor and he said the hearing aids would not help.

They made molds and ordered the plugs. When I got there to pick them up they made sure the fit was good and told me that if I had any problems I could return and they would redo them for me. They made sure I knew what I was doing before I left.

I think Dr. Ana Anzola, (Au.D.,CCC-A, FAAA, ABA Doctor of Audiology) and staff are wonderful. She and her staff are very, warm, patient and have pleasantly help me pick, receive, and adjust to the best hearing aids for me. She is VERY knowledgable in her field and has always been very patient with all my many questions. I believe we have picked hearing aids that fit me very well, meet my needs, and perform to my needs without over selling aids with features that I do not need. These aids adapt to my surroundings. They are not just amplifiers. Good hearing aids are NOT cheap. And although I wish the price was lower, because of MY research, I think the service she performs, the performance of the aid, and the warrantee that is included is reasonable compared to other aids. Aids evidently need to be replaced or modified every 3 to 5 years. That seems to be compliment with the industry. No matter where I am or where I may be in 3 to 5 years, I plan to continue to be evaluated and fitted by Dr. Anzola.

I had a very good experience at Ascent Audiology (McLean). Dr. Wendy Thorne was the audiologist assigned to me. She was outstanding in all respects. She evaluated my hearing loss, explained the hearing aid options available to me, arranged for me to purchase the hearing aids at a good price, and worked with me to become comfortable with the hearing aids. Throughout the process, she was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, patient with all of my questions, and a good listener. I never felt pressured to make a quick decision or buy anything. For anyone who is considering acquiring hearing aids, I highly recommend Dr. Wendy Thorne at Ascent Audiology in McLean.

I visited Dr. Boiano at the Rockville office. As a medical professional I was immediately impressed with her terrific bedside manner. She spent a great deal of time with me explaining my hearing loss and my options for hearing aids. I tend to ask a lot of questions and she was extremely patient with me. I've seen other audiologists, and none can compare. I was apprehensive about wearing hearing aids and she was very comforting. I would recommend her without any reservation.

Dr. Thorne did a thorough checkup and her findings matched what I had gotten from another provider. Dr Thorne was very patient in showing me all the options and letting my try a set of tester hearing aids. Wowza.
I came to this practice with my heart set on getting a certain brand of hearing aid as my family had previous experience with it. Dr. Thorne was able to convince me that the Starkey was better. Web research seemed to confirm her opinion, so I ordered them.
Got fitted today and have noticed a remarkable difference in meetings. Love the fact that these Halo V90 pair with my phone. Hands free works great (music streaming no so great, but pretty convenient. I am very pleased with what I got in product and service.

Everything went very smoothly. This was my first follow up since I received my hearing aids at Blue Ridge. She did some fine tuning which was excellent. She also worked with me on certain "cleaning" issues.

My experience working with Dr. Boiano was pleasant from beginning to end. She was very understanding and appreciated my reluctance to relive the stress of loud and painful noises blaring in my ears. Because of my concerns, Dr. Boiano allowed me to start with the softest, most helpful and specific amplification and gradually increased the specific amplification over the last three months. Additionally, Dr. Boiano assured me that I could return the hearing aids if they were not helpful.
I am very happily surprised by the improvement in hearing aids' quality. Hearing aids in 2015 are much better than they were in 2005. I wear mine daily (12 hours) and find my self quickly responding to people versus asking for them to repeat what was already said. I appreciate the difference in my life. They aren't perfect, but they are much, much better than ten years ago.
Ascent Audiology and Hearing provided practical advice and support. I worked with Dr. Boiano who was knowledgable and kind and made the experience pleasant. I hope that you will give your self a chance to hear better too.

The provider's care was outstanding. From the first call to make an appointment, through the exam to the final cleaning and repair of the hearing aid, all of the members of Ascent were professional and courteous. Jennifer Little was exceptionally helpful.
