We had previously used Thorsen for a major remodel. On the whole they had been good so we used them to install a custom storm door. It took forever to get them to start and then finish the job. We initially contacted them to install it in November 2011 and it was not fully complete until March 2012. There were some issues beyond Thorsen's control (they had a bad supplier initially and had to switch), but even with these the communication was non-existent. We would have to continually pester them for information and would then find things out like they had switched suppliers which added another 5 weeks to the job. It was obvious that our job was not a priority, despite the obscene amount of money we made for them on our previous remodel (not to mention the increased business in our neighborhood after we hired them). Once the door was finally installed it warped relatively quickly and would not stay latched shut.

It went very well. They do excellent, high-quality work, but they are more expensive. I would recommend them because they do quality work and you know it is going to be done right.

The work was excellent. I did not check on their price. I had very little contact with them - they did a god job.
