In October 2013 Rena of Sunshine Pet Sitting was recommended to me by a friend and I was so very impressed with her. I called and set up and appointment to meet Rena and discuss my desires and the special needs of my aging Ragdoll cat. She arrived on time, was very friendly, my cat loved her and she gave my cat lots of attention during our meeting, she stayed as long as needed and did not even take payment for her time for the meeting. She is a pet lover and told me about her many pets. She is extremely professional, she gave me a packet of information and forms to fill out with instructions on everything I might need her to do including bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, and watering the plants. She has a very nice website which proudly includes pictures of the pets that she cares for. She even asks for permission to take a picture of your pet to include on her website. She is an answer to my prayers - she will spend the night and sleep with my cat who is still mourning the loss of her best friend of 10 years and needs lots of love and attention. Most pet sitters just don't understand the need to spend the night unless you have a dog and that is simply NOT true. My ragdoll cat not only needs the spoiling and loving attention she normally receives daily but she also has asthma and needs to be monitored for medication needs and she gladly administers medications as needed. She also works for a local Vet and is very knowledgeable on pet foods and care. I called her for my last trip but she was in the process of moving and gave me the name of her co-worker who spent the night with my ragdoll and did an awesome job and even texted updates and pictures of my cat. I will certainly call her the very next time I will be away from home and I will feel very comfortable leaving her in charge of my home and my beloved cat. And I really appreciated the referral of her co-worker. The bottom line is she still took care of me!

Rena is an excellent care giver and was very thorough with setting up services before my family went on vacation. She collected personalized information on each animal including favorite toys, routines, and medications. She is also able to take care of mail or watering plants. When we returned from our trip Rena provided a detailed written description of how each animal did while we were away. Her goal is to do everything just as the owner would so that pets feel comfortable while their families are away. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!

The dogs love her and they cry when she leaves. She is very reliable. When we get back home the house is exactly as I left it. When she brings the key back they're very excited to see her.
One of our dogs likes to be left alone, but when I was talking to her the dog was cuddled up to her with her head on her lap. This dog does not do that with strangers. This is why I hired her.

Rene at Sunshine pet sitting was referred to me by my vet. I don't like leaving my dogs in kennels when I am on vacation. Rene comes to my house to live while I am away, I completely trust her and she genuinely loves animals. She takes great care of my animals and I never want to use anyone else. It is so perfect for our family and there has never been a problem, its worked out perfectly, I highly recommend her!

Rene did a wonderful job. She tested me when she arrived and we communicated frequently. We are so exited to have found Rene.

They charge $20/day for the first pet and $10/day for the second. I like that she stayed in my home so I wouldn't have to board the dogs. When she came for an interview, my dog was cuddled up to her within five minutes. I filled out paperwork, she asked about their routines and medications, and she was just wonderful. She left us treats for when we got home and the house was spotless. The dogs were happy and they hardly let her in the door the next day when she returned the key because they were bouncing so much. It meant a lot to me that they went crazy as soon as they saw her.
