My A/C was working but not cooling my house completely. I contacted RAA Heating. Ray was available the same afternoon or Monday so I met him the same day. Ray is a very nice man with a very professional dimeaner. What I am not pleased about is that my A/C was 2 lbs low on refrigerant and it cost me $300 to add refrigerant only. I asked at least three times if maybe he should remove the cover and check the coils but he would not. I'm sure the leak will not repair itself and I will again have to pay for more refrigerant AND an actual repair bill. I prefer things fixed right the first time.

"the first words out of this lady was " I hope this does not cost a lot, I do not have any money." I explained to the lady that in all probability the leak was in the evaporator coil which would need to be replaced. She stated that she would not be able to afford a $ 2,000.00 plus bill , so the only option was to patch the system by adding refrigerant. The lady's system used the old style refrigerant which has been discontinued and is now very expensive. What she does not say is that I gave her a break on the cost of the refrigerant. I explained this all to her and any service was at her instruction. If she was unhappy in any way she should have contacted me and I would have worked with her to make her happy. I strive to work with my customers for their satisfaction."

Ray come to my home earlier than he promised, which was great for me. He showed me what he needed to do to make the repairs and promptly fixed the problem. I would hire RAA again for repairs.

my original experience with mr. Alequin in 9/08 was wonderfull. so when i needed in 6/09 i called upon him again for a problem, he was able to take care of it. And then in 8/09 i started having problems with icing on my unit and caused intermittant lapses of no a/c. because the diagnostic readings on the day he was there were only slightly low he did not charge with refrigerant. so when the unit quit cooling altogether i called again and set up an appointment of which mr. Alequin was a no-show nor did he call to cancel. what a disappointment. my opinion of him has gone from wonderful to terrible.

Very prompt, courteous, and priced below the "bigger guys." He worked cleanly and quietly (half the time, I didn't know if he was inside or outside the house.) Expert advice. We felt comfortable he wasn't trying to cheat us. Super job!

Although the problem was relatively simple and quick to fix, Ray took extra time to check freon and pressure levels to let us know how the unit was performing. He stood by his quoted price. Although I would not classify it as cheap, it was not super expensive and it was well worth the piece of mind from having him look at our entire system. We discussed the eventual replacement of the A/C and he gave me several recommendations on the process, hardware, and price. I will definitely call Ray again in the future!
