Do not use the services of James Gorman. He sealed my driveway for a premium price. A crack at the bottom reopened within a month or two. He promised to return and repair it but did not. After my third call, he aggressively told me I had called three times, plus he did not guarantee to repair the crack. I was pleasant to him in all of our interactions. He seemed happy when I told him I no longer needed his service, perhaps because he would not have to make the repair.

They were recommended by a friend.  I would probably not use him again from what I heard from other people.  He was very punctual when he performed the service.  I was not sure if his price was low or high.  I contacted him and asked him about resealing my driveway.  He was not very receptive and didn’t want to come out.  I just never bothered with him again.  He told me that he would get the job in one day and he did at that time.

He did a good job. He did also give me a good rate, this was 125' driveway. I would give him a B+.

John knocked on door (our last names are the same) and said that he was doing a driveway in the neighborhood.  Our driveway needed sealing and patching.  I did NOT go and check on him while he was working.  About three of hours later he was done and said that we could start using our driveway in the morning.  We could not use the driveway w/o leaving black on our shoes or tires for 3 days.  Two weeks later there was still areas that would leave black marks on shoes/tires.  We have white brick walls that line our driveway.  There is over-spray on the white brick and some over-spray on the cement sidewalk to the front door.  Some of the cracks showed the sand in two days time.  I tried calling John... no answer to messages.  I finally wrote him a letter; no answer to the letter either.  I've had three more asphalt companies come by to give me an estimate on sealing the cracks; the first one was a week after John's work.  We will NEVER use his services again!
