These stores don't help you much anymore. It's self-service. Their prices are good. The quality has been good. I find them lacking on professionalism. They could have more experienced people on the floor. There are people that don't know where their stuff is.

It was very frustrating.  They contacted us said our product was in stock and said to work with the contractor to schedule a time.  We found out it wasn’t in stock but Home Depot didn’t call us to let us know.  When it was in stock we scheduled the installation.  They only gave us one day but it was a 2 day job.  They scheduled it for a Friday and I tried to change it to Monday but they said they could do in it one day.  They showed up at 2 pm and when they were leaving at 8 pm, I asked the if they available if they could the next day to finish.  They wouldn’t answer me if they could come the next day.  I called the supervisor because he said they couldn’t come on Saturday.  But he said they would come on Monday.  All of our appliances were in other areas in the house.  We didn’t have a kitchen for an entire weekend.  There were no accurate expectations for job.

It was fantastic. The saleswomen was very knowledgable about blinds. She was also very honest and the pros and cons of each line. She steered us toward Bali Blinds, which happen to be on sale. We were able to check out the sample book at no charge. I picked out my selection and made an appointment with their installer, who comes out and measures. He was very professional. Came at the appointed time and quickly measured the entire house. The order was drop shipped to our home is about 3 weeks. The installer (same person - so nice!) was available by cell phone for me to make the installation appointment. He was very flexible time-wise. He installed all 32 blinds in just a few hours. They look more beautiful than I could have imagined. He even caught a couple of blinds that were slightly off the mark. He left them hanging (so we would still have privacy) but re-ordered the 2 that needed to be redone. They arrived a week later and he came out and installed them the next day. I am SOOOO happy with Home Depot. Their staff (sales people and installer) was incredibly professional and friendly. And...the best part....it was about HALF what we would have paid at Next Day Blinds. HALF!!! And they're BEAUTIFUL.
