We cannot recommend Mike and his team more. From the first contact, Mike was responsive, knowledgable, patient and helpful. Mike answered all the questions we had, respected our desire to look at other options and never pressured us with our decision. He worked with us to set an install date that worked for our family. They were on time for the install date and held true to the timeframe they laid out. The best part was the way that Mike performed the initial training with our dogs. It was clear that Mike's main concern was for my dogs and their comfort with the training process. He took his time with us and and explained every step for us to clearly understand. Mike stayed until after last question we had was answered. He even called us the next day and the following week to check up on how the training was going and the dogs were doing. We cannot say enough good things about Mike and his trainer, Nick. Throughout the process, Mike was professional, helpful and cheerfully answered our many questions. We had very specific requirements (yes, we were THOSE people), yet Mike and Nick, the installer and trainer, handled our requests cheerfully and managed to figure out a solution that worked for everyone. Not only was the pricing an excellent value, in our opinion, but the product is working perfectly. We have a strong willed German Shepherd rescue dog so we were worried about the fence even working with her. Not to worry, not only was she literally trained within a half hour, she has never even thought of breaching the fence. We could not be happier and would recommend this company without hesitation.

This was the least painful process I have experienced in purchasing services. Mike was incredibly responsive from first indication of interest thru installation and training. His follow-up to see how my dog was adjusting was fantastic.

Went great from start to finish. Mike took time to explain what he did when i called to schedule the install. Before arriving he did a courtesy phone call and email to make sure we were still on the same schedule. Mike showed exactly when he promised and took time before he installed the fence to get acquainted with me an Nemo. He explained everything he did and why and he showed me what to do to continue Nemo's training. The best part was his dog Hazlit who was very friendly and tolerated being harassed by Nemo. Hazlit actually helped him train my little one. Mike followed up with a call a couple days later to see how things were going and gave me some very good advice. He followed a few days later with an email asking if I needed help. Mike is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and prompt. I highly recommend his service to anyone seeking a buried fence for their little friend. Mike saved me a bundle of money, headache, and heartache. Making sure I had Nemo under boundary control was my chief concern when moving. Mike's fence and training allowed me to focus on moving. Last, Nemo has adjusted very well to his new boundaries. He is learning very quickly where he can and cannot go. Thanks Mike!

Mike from Hidden Fence came out to get our 2nd Golden Doodle on the fence. I can not speak or recommend him highly enough. If you are in the market for an underground fencing solution for your dog to give them a little more freedom give him a call. I will give the price of the 2nd collar, flags, and training.

My wife and I have two dogs.  When we moved into a house with a small yard looked for an alternative to a large wooden fence which we felt looked out of place given the size of our yard.  However, we wanted to be able to let the dogs out of the house without accompanying or walking them every single time. 
I located HIDDEN FENCE on Angie's List and contacted Mike by e-mail.  Mike met with us and provided in depth details regarding installation, price, training and service.  Most importantly, he instilled confidence by guaranteeing a full refund if the fence was ineffective for my dogs.  The installation went according to schedule and was very neat and efficient.  Mike was very conscientious about the placement and appearance of the wiring and equipment.   He took great care to insure it was out of sight and out of the way and that there was no damage to my house or yard.
Mike's experience was evident in the training of my dogs.  I had very little confidence my dogs would quickly respond to the training.  I fully expected the training to take a long time and even considered the possibility it would fail.  I was very surprised when my dogs were doing great after several hours of training.  Although I left the training flags on the borders of my yard for the requisite time, both dogs were fully compliant by the end of the first few days. 
Mike has provided outstanding and on-going service since our purchase.  He has been very responsive to all calls.  For example, one of my dogs went through the fence and escaped to a neighbors yard the first week after installation.  I contacted Mike who  immediately came to my house and adjusted the fence settings and spent time training the dog.  The dog has never escaped since that time.  He also graciously came to the house and repaired damage to the fence done by a landscaper. He marked the fence location to prevent further damage.
I am highly satisfied with this product and the service Mike has provided.  I highly recommend it for anyone who has dogs. 
 

The entire installation and training for our pets was outstanding. Mike was professional, courteous, reliable, honest and a great pleasure to deal with for the installation. He followed up several times to ensure that all was working properly. He is a real animal lover and our dogs always loved his visits for the training. I wish I had contracted with Mike years ago as all is working perfectly. He and his company are highly recommended.

Mike was awesome (and his pup too).  Anyone can do a good job installing the fence, but the training and the followup were excellent.  The training with my 10 month Airedale was great.  He's (the dog) not gotten out since install.
Mike laid out the training plan after he spent over an hour with Clue (our dog) and my wife and I. 
The best thing is he answered all questions during the training and after via email quickly and effectively.  His follow up is extraordinary! 

It went really well!! Mike put in our underground fence and made it into 2 separate zones for us; one for the back yard and one for the front. He spent an hour training me and my dog on the fence. In addition, he was always available for any questions I had. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone who is looking into an underground fence for their pet!!!

Was very prompt on replying, came the same day, was able to do the work the same day, and still was very professional - courteous plus listened to the changes and why. 

He explained what he needed and together we worked out the new plan, and the same day, he was able to get the work done.  Again I can't say enough about how responsive and willing to work with you Hidden Fence is.

This is the 2nd Invisible Fence we had installed by Mike.  Mike is awesome!  He brought his dog, Hazlitt, with him this time to help with the training.
I only have positives to say about Mike.  Anyone can do the installation.  But Mike goes above and beyond with training your dog.  Even with the second installation at our new home Mike still spent considerable time with our Dog.  And of course our Dog loves Mike and Hazlitt.
We are 110% satisfied.  Not sure you can get better service than what Mike offers!!
Oh and the fence is genius.  Our rescue Hound Dog has never once gone through it.  She has had many temptations, i.e., rabbits, deer, cats, other dogs, etc.  But she will not go through it.
For the doubters of the invisible fence.  Me, I hated the thought of fencing my yard with wood etc and the maintenance of it.  The Invisible Fence is the perfect solution.  As I said this is our 2nd install by Mike.  If you ever had doubts that it won't work.  Your dog would not learn the boundaries, etc.,  call Mike.   He will train your dog and you on on to use it.  I definitely was a doubter.   Now I am a believer!  Call Mike and give your Pet the freedom of roaming your yard.  And give yourself the peace of mind that your pet is safe and having fun.

He showed on time for the quote, plus the install and was very nice plus professional.  On the install day, he brought his "helper" his own dog, which helped my dog learn how to use the flags to know where the "invisible line" was not to cross, he was amazing - wonderful and very good with my dog.  
Followed up with us on how our dog was doing with the fence, has answered every call with any questions and we plan to do an additional purchase with him in the near future.    We can't stress enough how stress free, following through with what he said he was going to do, and helping us teach our dog about the fence. 
This company was the best choice in many ways from the price and the amazing staff we dealt with and continue to deal with.

I contacted Mike via Angie's list and he responded right away, answering all of my questions and setting up an appointment.  He was punctual, professional and did a wonderful job.  He spent  a lot of time training the dogs to use the fence and followed up several times to make sure that everything was going well.  Since then, he has responded quickly to emails regarding some questions that I have had.  As promised, I received the new batteries for the collars in the mail after 6 months.  I would absolutely hire him again!  Great overall experience.

I had some out of warranty receivers for the hidden/invisible fence that were broke.
I inquired with Mike Schultz about how to get them repaired/replaced.
He came up with a fair solution giving me credit for my old receivers. It saved me money over buying new ones.
The turn around time was really fast. I mailed them to him on a Weds and I had replacements back on Sat.
They work perfectly and look great.
It was great doing business with him.

We found Mike (Hidden Fence, INC.) on Angies List and contacted him.
We called him and had a quick conversation.  He immediately set up an appointment with us and came to our home.   While here he spent a good amount of time with us.  Mike explained everything, walked the property, answered all over questions, met our dog, and just really made us feel very comfortable that this would work with our pet.  There was no pressure from Mike trying to sell to us and no money needed for deposit.
We called Mike within the next couple days to move forward.  Mike covers everything and schedules Ms Utility to mark your yard prior to him digging.  
Mike is a one man show, works quickly and does great work.    He had our yard installed within a few hours and then it was time to train the dog.  I was really impressed with Mike and his patience.  Our dog caught on quickly and Mike spent plenty of time with us and our pet.   Mike trained the dog on the entire property.   Of course, its highly recommended that a few of the family members are there to help in the training because it teaches you a lot as well.  
So after a month plus of having the system we LOVE IT!  We keep saying it is the best money we have spent on our home.  Our dog loves it to.  She loves to be able to roam the yard and has not tried to escape once.
Mike has been great with follow up.  
Let me just say, Mike is so easy to work with and really knows his business.  We highly recommend him!

Perfect! Always does great work. I've had him here numerous times to change the fence lines, to keep the dogs out of certain areas, or when outdoor work has damaged the lines, etc.

I messaged Mike via Angie's List and he got in touch immediately.  We discussed my needs and Mike came over to assess the property and fence line and gave me a packet and I knew immediately that I would be comfortable giving him my business.  Within a week of the original contact, my fence was installed and Mike provided a training lesson for my two, rather unruly, chocolate labs.  The training session went well and both dogs quickly seemed to pick up on the parameters of their 'confinement' in the 'safe' area.  Mike left me with detailed instructions on follow up training along with a User Manual.  They had their second exposure today and all went well.
Mike is a consummate professional, personable and I was delighted with how quickly he provided the service.  I only wish he also did Roofing, Driveway installation and home remodeling!  I've had less success with Angie's List providers I've contacted in the same timeframe.  
I feel confident that Mike stands behind his product and service and, if I have any issues, he will be there to help.  Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Mike and Hidden Fence to Angie's List members who need invisible fencing for their pets.

Everything went as well as the first time. In less than a week, our puppy was enjoying his new found freedom. Never any problems with the fence. I highly recommend Mike and his services.
