Derek was great to work with, we discussed several options. He would answer any and all questions I had. Once I decided which option to go with, we set up a time for install. His crew showed up early in the morning and had the old unit out, new unit in within 6 hours. Everything is working fine and they did a great job.

Let me start off by saying Fauquier Mechanical and Derek Goff are awesome. Derek is very honest and you can rely on what he tells you. Derek came out to look at my a/c unit. I had 2 rooms that were not cooling at all. Nothing coming out of the vents. It has been this way since the ac was put in. I originally had a well known big business long time ac heating contractor in Warrenton come out and they gave me a price to replace the 2 pieces of flexible duct that ran from the ac unit in the attic to the two rooms (less than 10 feet each) of $1200 which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. So it sat. Then I found Derek. :) Turns out after Derek looked at the issue, the duct work wasn't even what the problem was!!!! Derek had the problem fixed quick and for less than $200.00! He's awesome! I wouldn't hesitate to call Derek again!

5 Star ratings are earned and Derek is an overachiever! He is quite possibly the hardest working HVAC professional that I have ever met. I called three vendors for a quote. Fauquier Mechanical's price was lowest but that was only one factor in my decision to hire them. Derek arrived on-time for his appointment; his inspection was very thorough; he asked the right questions; and he took the time to discuss what he saw and what he was going to recommend. Derek is more that the sales guy, he is also the lead installer; he runs the project start to finish. He and his crew showed up 5 minutes early for the installation appointment; they worked tirelessly; and the completed job exceeded my expectations. They were clean, polite, no PG-13 language, and absolutely tenacious down to the very last detail. Derek is honest. Derek does not settle for "good enough" and takes pride in his work. I have another project at another house and have already told Derek that I need him for the job; I won't even bother to call the other vendors. You will not regret hiring Fauquier Mechanical for your next Heating/Air Conditioning job.

Highly recommend. Derek is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. He goes above and beyond to make certain everything is done correctly and in perfect working order. He and his team replaced a failed heat pump in my home. Of the three firms contacted, Derek is the only one who truly took the time to thoroughly evaluate the condition of my existing system and duct work. In addition, his was the most reasonable estimate for the job. I have hired other professionals based on Home Advisor reviews and all have been good, but Fauquier Mechanical is hands down the best yet.

Derek Goff (owner/operator) is very trust worth and knowledgeable. In 12 hours I have a newly installed furnace, central air, humidifier and air purifier. His other men, Donnie and Virgil were also equal to the task.

Derek was very professional. He worked on Sat and Sun to take care of the problem. He charged a a very reasonable cost to work on our air conditioning over the weekend. Derek is the person that you want to call for your air conditioning problems.

I prefer to hire a small local company. He was knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us something that we didn't need. The large company's techs double as salespersons.
