B & L did an outstanding job.  All columns were carefully set, perfectly plumb, and look terrific.  We were a bit concerned with doing this project because the porch is on 8-foot columns and the siding and roof trusses are tied into the house.  It was a high-risk project.  Any failure of temporary supports would be catastrophic to the house.
We were in the house when the work was done, and other than some minor vibrations, it went extremely smoothly.  No damage, no change in elevation of the porch.  Phew!
Finally, Mike did a great job of listening to what we wanted.  We wanted the steel to end above grade to avoid rust over time, so they encased it in concrete above the existing footers, and extended the concrete column using sono tubes exactly 2" above grade so that the project would look great and last "forever".
The project came in UNDER estimate, and we were happily surprised.
The crew was great, took care of the job site, and caused minimal damage to the adjacent area.  We couldn't be happier.

Perfect. B&L is a dream come true. After my horrible experience with Zindel, I was very wary and untrusting about builders. However, they have renewed my faith that there are competent, honest and reliable builders out there. I had zero problems. They found out what I wanted. Did it. Charged what they said they were going to charge. And did not make mistakes, or if they did, they fixed them and I never knew about it. I gave them a key to my house and I trust them to do work when I am not there.
