Aurora Services, Inc. is a woman owned, family business, with professional and considerate employees! We have provided services to the metropolitan Washington DC area going into our 18th year. We are a Class A Electrical Contractor which enables us to provide Automatic Gate Installation and Services under Virginia code. We are licensed in Maryland as an Electrical Contractor as well. We love the business of creating, of working with clients to bring into being their desires, a vision of elegance for their home. We are bound by our personally code of conduct, always honest and reliable. If we stray from that compass point we have lost our own intergrity. And Aurora Services Began . . . Our story began in 1995. We purchased automatic gate system accounts from another gate contractor. That contractor could no longer find adequate solutions to their customers needs and failed to thrive asa business. Simply showing up and offering honest assessments as to the condition of many existing gates systems is what we believe helped to restore faith and trust. We work very hard, in a professional manner, to provide solutions and equipment suitable for individual needs. We have made a conscious decision not to flood the market with advertisements promoting our business. We selectively advertise in a few upscale publications and believe that our client base is the driving component to our business growth. A satisfied client is the most important testimony to our success! You are our success! Now for the business matters, we offer email invoicing and prefer COD payment. Once our relationship is established and we are all happy Net 30 works. We accept all major credit cards if that makes things easier!

Services we offer
We begin with the design services to arrive at your “perfect” gate system layout using a CAD program. From design we move into the installation phase with care and diligence to respect your property. Upon completion we dedicate time to train you on your system covering troubleshooting, concerns, maintenance requirements, programming of your new system and providing discs containing manuals. We are always available for questions, repairs and maintenance and compliments!

When it was time to upgrade our gate operating system, 16 years later in January 2013, Amber gave us the most efficient, highest quality, best priced operating system available....once again.
Brad Isham is a master electrician who ensures that every electrical aspect of your gate system is installed properly. He is an excellent problem solver and trouble shooter, so when we have had maintenance issues, some not even related to the gates, but with the phone lines attached to the operating systems for example, he was able to figure out what the problem was so we knew who should be contacted. When I have any questions or concerns, Brad is always available to answer promptly and thoroughly.
Over the years we have had some emergencies, for example we had a lightening strike to our gate operating system and Brad came out immediately to fix the system so we were not without gates. Aurora always make ever possible effort to be there for your needs.
They continue to handle our maintenance. They are always timely and professional and continue to be competitively priced. Quite frankly...they are the best in every way.
It's so nice to have a long term relationship with a family run business with integrity, and competence. Not only does Aurora Services install your system well......they are also around for the long haul to maintain them. Aurora Services is the only gate company I would ever use. I have had two gate systems installed by Aurora Services over the past Ten Years. Both installations were completed on time and within budget. The company will work with the contractor and the consumer to ensure the system is properly installed in a timely manner and ensures the gate is up and running as soon as possible. The systems Aurora install are 'state of the art' with both residential and commercial applications available.
The company is run by Brad and Amber Isham who both have comprehensive knowledge in installation and maintenance of FAAC and Viking systems. The installation and follow up by the Company is excellent. They will not leave the customer without a operational system if at all possible. The company also tries to educate their customers about the operational aspects of the gate system so many times the little problems which do arise with gate systems due to power surges, strong storms & etc., can be solved by the customer and not by a service call from Aurora thereby saving the customer the time and expense of service. If a service call is necessary, the response is prompt.
As to pricing, I feel that Aurora gives you a grade A+ system at a decent price. I am considering upgrading my oldest system (10+ years) to a newer system and would not think of using any one other that Brad, Amber & their team.
