I've been a real estate agent for 30 yrs, and In all that time I have NEVER received a negative review. Unfortunately I have one here on Angie's List . This was a seller that I secured a full price offer on their house (they where very excited ) until the home inspection reveled that an attic fire had swept though the attic. Consequently the buyers walked on the sell. The seller understandably were upset, then I had to inform them that in order to move forward with sell of their house, they would have to make repairs or disclose the damage to potential buyers to avoid possible law suits. Not to mention we must abide by the code of ethics under V.A. law. That is when their anger turn towards me (don't shoot the messenger) but they did w/ this review. These accusations are simple untrue and outlandish. If anyone would care to see my reviews and testimonials, I can provide them for you, even talk to past clients. Thank you and good luck.
For sellers I offer complete comparative market analysis [CMA]. A full rundown of net proceeds to sellers. "I was just made aware of this review. So I think it's important that I respond. I do remember this listing. I had secured a full price offer on the property, and subsequently there was a home inspection. The home inspection had revealed that they had been an attic fire that traveled halfway through the house. As a result of this discovery the Buyer's exercise their rights under the contingency exclusion and did not move forward in purchasing the home. The sellers were very upset understandably because they thought the work had been repaired properly. To add insult to injury, I had to inform them according to the code of ethics we would have to disclose this defect to potential buyers. I think perhaps they were a victim of a poor contractor, but unfortunately I was the messenger and I did get shot obviously with this review. I hold no ill will to the sellers and they're house did eventually sell unfortunatly for less. I'm happy for them that their home did sell and I wish them well."
