He's been out a couple of times. He re-plumbed the heater and he did some other work to it. I thought they were a little bit high, but I don't know what the rates are anymore. I think the price is a little high, but he did nice work, there were no issues there. They were wonderful. It's a small company, but sadly I think sometimes they have to charge more. I'm very pleased with the work. I think he took pride in his work, and I like that. The workers were all wonderful. I'm happy with the work that was performed, I'm using them and I will use them again.

WGS was referred to me by a friend who has used them for years. I called them based on his recommendation, Rusty came out to see the scope of work and provided the most competitive fixed cost quote at $1,787. At the time, he mentioned that the vent pipe on the water heater might have to  be replaced, which would be an additional cost, but at the time, I did not ask for that as a separate line option on the original quote. As it turned out, the installation tech on the day of service advised that it needed replacement, so I authorized it thinking it would be for parts plus a reasonable markup only in that there was no additional time involved beyond what was estimated. To my shocking surprise upon completion of the job, which was finished within one day, an invoice was presented for an additional $469 for the vent kit add on. I checked online for a similar 3" vent kit tem # 3F348 at a local supplier named Grainger, which prices it at $75.70. Even at a 50% markup, that would come to about $114, so the $469 really upset me, so I immediately called Rusty to complain, butt I was only able to negotiate the price down to $300. He tried to justify the price by talking about additional time and having to send the helper to pick up the parts and additional time by the plumber. That does not add up though, because the helper had to run and errand anyway to pick up parts that were left off of the truck and mostly watched the plumber work and occasionally helped anyway.   Furthermore, the plumber was already here and finished the job within the normal work day, so the add on price left an unsatisfactory taste in my mouth.
Otherwise, I was satisfied with the quality of the work, except for the fact that I wondered whether a leak check on the new gas and water pipe joints were done before the plumber left. I called Rusty to verify and found out that had not been done, so he came out the next day, found one leak and fixed it. Fortunately, it was not a gas leak that could have caused a major problem,
Nevertheless, I would consider using them again but would make sure to get a quote on any optional add on before authorizing the work to make sure it was reasonable.

I was informed of the $99.00 service charge over the phone - no problem. But when the technician handed me a bill for almost $300.00 I was shocked. I feel I should have been informed he was installing a $200.00 thermostat before he did the work.

I was very pleased with the work that was done but if I use them in the future I will make sure that I get all the prices up front.

Very professional. I can trust that they're doing the job right. They cost more, but I feel they're more reliable and that I'm getting what I pay for.

All the work was completed in a timely manner. Problems were solved in a practical way. Dealing with Rusty was a pleasant.
I learned that the name and quot;White Goodsand quot; refers to appliances in some parts of the country.
During a service call, Rusty fixed the control wiring, that I damaged with a weed eater, at no cost.
The new AC is much more efficient and it will pay for itself.

The service was exceptionally firendly, very professional, and prompt. All costs were explained in detail, and the guy was very honest. The unit has never run better. I highly recommend this company.
