Service was OK, later I identified several areas of the railing structure which were withoiut the stained sealer. It has held up well.

The upstairs painting went well.  All furniture was covered and they did a good clean up when they were done.  With the number of people he had with him, we thought the job should have been completed sooner.

They did not do a good job.  They did not finish in the allotted time, I had to pay extra for the job.

Matt's guys did an outstanding job and accomplished more than I had expected. I normally do my own painting, but I'm getting too old to be working off 30ft ladders, so I asked Matt's guys to start at the top and work down. Anything they didn't get to in the day, I figured I could finish myself. I was pleasantly surprised that they managed to complete the whole house. I highly recommend Changing Colors - their people are professional, friendly, and courteous. I will definitely use them again.

It was awesome. He is good. The wallpaper looks good, and he winded up good. I am a neat freak, so I am really clean, and he cleaned up before he left. They did a very good job. We didn't compare the price with anything, but it didn't seem high. The price was reasonable to me. If I had any questions or complaints he would call me right back. I am already planning on using him again.

Very good overall.

"sometimes nails are missed in hindsight, this job in particular was part of coupon deal for two painters for 7 hours, it was a large room, also but we always strive to make the client happy, if made aware or asked we never mind helping the client out to go the extra mile, sometimes with the coupons we try to get as much if not more paint work done in the time alloted and we may miss the extra touch by looking at the overall picture for the great deal"

i used an Angies List deal coupon.  When I called to schedule the service, Changing Colors was friendly and helpful and very willing to arrange for the service around my schedule.
The supervisor arrived with the painters, introduced everyone and left me his contact information if there were any questions or issues.  There were none.  The painters were friendly, courteous and very neat - especially important since they were working with dark colored paint.
I will use this company for future painting needs.

First of all Matthew Pack, the owner of the company, got back to me promptly. We set up a convenient date and time for him to come to my house and see what could be painted within the time frame of the Big Deal offer. When he came he mentioned other services that he could provide such as wallpapering and refinishing my stairs. The following week three men came and did a beautiful job. I was completely satisfied and plan to have my dining room done next.

Matthew Pack and his crew arrived exactly on time each day they were here.  Even though they encountered 2 layers of wallpaper to be removed instead of the one they had expected, he did not raise his price.  The wallpaper removal in the dining room was well-done.   However, while the crew was preparing the walls in the dining room for painting, they used an electric sander that created a massive cloud of plaster dust.  Unfortunately, while they had coverered the furniture in the dining room, they had not put up a pastic barrier between the dining room and the adjoining living room or covered the heat registers.  Consequently, every item in the living room, including curtains, carpets, walls, furniture, knick-knacks, and all the china and crystal that had been removed from the dining room was covererd with a thick layer of plaster dust.  They offered to clean everything up for us, but that would have been a task that they weren't equipped to handle.  This left us with an enormous clean-up task that would not have been necessary if Matthew had given clear instuctions to the crew as to the hanging of plastic between rooms.  In an office area, he had to remove and reapply one wall of grasscloth, a laborious process, which he did well.  However, when the final strip of grasscloth had been applied, he dirtied it with his fingerprints trying to make it stick and fit up against the old grasscloth.  I don't think this can be cleaned.  Other problems included:  his workers left our soaking tub in the master bathroom full of the trash and residue from their clean-up after painting of the bedroom and bathroom.  I didn't notice this until they were gone.  In restrospect, I should have had them return to do the clean-up because it was a bear.  In addition, as the crew was leaving (in a bit of a rush), I had to point out to Matthew that the front porch columns needed another coat of paint because old paint and brush strokes were clearly visible.  His man did this with no compaint, and it looks great now.

I think Matthew is reliable, well-intentioned, and extremely reasonably priced.  However, I believe he needed to more carefully supervise his workers, who were more interested in finishing up the job than in doing a really thorough job.  He should have carefully examined all their work and their clean-up or lack thereof before any of them were allowed to leave the job.  I would consider using him again but only with clear guidelines as to his supervision of his workers.

"no excuses, we strive to make our clients happy if we make a mistake we are very willing to accommodate, , i was personally pressure washing the driveway when made aware of the situation and immediately had the guys put the barrier,we stand behind our work 100% and would have been more than glad to have cleaned up the dust or to come back and clean a mess left in a sink if given the chance , sorry for any inconveniences we stayed until the job was finished and put the extra coat on the columns with no complaints, pressure washed driveway for free and removed extra layer of wall covering, when we left homeowners seemed very pleased"

Great guys.......accomodating and professional.  Had some call back issues with the wood repair and they took care of them in a timely fashion. Only complaint is not real confident of wood repair (the wood repair guy was going to use wood filler instead of real wood in some places till I caught it)......and that some of the painting was a bit messy....drip spots on driveway walks etc......some on siding......had to scrape the window panels on a door that had been hastily painted and not wiped. But over-all , they do a good job and I would recommend them.

"in some instances we use a wood bondo for some small repairs depending on the extent of damage ,after being made aware our worker replaced all wood instead of using the filler , Member let us know that he expected all wood to be replaced and not repaired so we did accommodate, thankyou for the work and sorry for the misunderstading"

I contacted "Changing Colors" by phone and Matt returned ny call that day.  Within approximately 1 week, Matt had come out to give me the estimate and  completed the assigned job with his crew.  Matt always will return your phone call within 24 hours and  set the job up in an extremely reasonable amount of time.  We were very pleased with the work done.  The crew was polite and worked consistently until the job was finished.  We have used Matt several times in the past and he has always been very accommodating and punctual.

I contacted Matt by phone, he returned my call within hours and set up a time to give me the estimate within the next day or two.  The crew came out at 8:30 a.m  on the date we set up and finished at 1:30 p.m.  During that time, the crew never stopped once to take a break and worked the entire five hours to have the entire dining room completed.  I was amazed at how efficient they were and was totally pleased with my "new" dining room.  I found Matt to be honest and his prices are extrememly reasonable and fair.  I used him again to paint part of the exterior of my house and, although he was busy, found a time slot to put me in.  I have recommended "Changing Colors" to many and will continue to use this company for all my painting/wallpaper needs in the future.

When I called about re-papering my dining room, Matthew came by the same day and gave me a quote after looking at the room. We agreed on the date and time, which was set for a couple of days later. On the scheduled date, he and his helper, Kevin, showed up on time (8:00am) and started working immediately. They were both friendly but professional and Matthew clearly knew what he was doing. They worked through lunch and finished up around 2:00pm, ahead of the expected time. They carefully removed curtains, pictures and furniture. They made sure the wall surface was smooth before installing the new paper. Before leaving, Matthew said to be sure to call him if there were any problems, not that any were expected, but if so he would fix anything necessary. They did a great job and I couldn't be more pleased with their work. It was a good experience and I would definitely call Changing Colors again.

Matthew pack used to work for wall coverings by Marty, His Uncle's company. While there, he did a beautiful job removing wallpaper in foyer & kitchen, and painting those walls. The cabinets were done beautifully in 2 days, as promised.
