He measured with care, obtained relevant portion of city code and our property description.  He recommended installing inside the garage (rather than outdoors exposed to weather) and pointed out that if it is officially designated as temporary, then permit and inspection are not required.  Upon our go-ahead, the very next day he (with a helper) built it in its entirety and cleaned up after finishing.

I flew in from out of town to prepare my condo for sale or rent; everything had to be done within the week of my stay. There were several things for a handyman to do. I called and the owner, Bryan, came out and inspected the damage, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work. He then came out on time and finished that afternoon. It could not have been easier and the final price was what he quoted. My garage ceiling looks like new!!! He got the swirl in the plaster right, too. He even helped with expertise on carpentry/dock repairs. Bryan is extremely knowledgable, offers great customer service and was on the job personally. It had been 2 years since I hired another guy to come out and do some work. That other guy way underestimated materials and I ended up paying for them, plus I even caught fellow cutting corners, too. But now I've found a great handyman and I'm sticking with him. The only company I will now let work on my home is Virginia Home Repair.

Bryan Teabout and his team at Virginia Home Repair did a great job at doing what we needed, and more. He walked through the rental home we have and made suggestions around colors for paint, doors that needed replacement and easy to do bathroom repairs. The meeting was quick, and we did not have to get involved at all until done. He called us when the work was complete and we could come by to inspect it. On the first day of the work, they arrived on time, did a great job, and communicated with us to keep us updated - but beyond getting updates, they handled any issues that arose. The renters were very pleased and now that the house is on the market, we plan to bring them back to do some additional work to prepare it for the new owners.
