The only word I can use to describe the experience is DISRESPECT.
Since I can find no positive words to say, I'm not going to say anything else.
"I do appreciate the member calling me and trusting me with her remodeling job. I was able to complete the job to the highest standard. I do understand that I cannot please all the people.... all the time. However, my work and track record show that is what I do everyday that I am in homes doing quality work."
our Master bathroom and updated our other bathrooms. When we decided to do these
projects we called out several businesses to get estimates and to talk to them
about the jobs.Several companies came out, but Randy Glaze was the only one to
follow thru! And we are so glad that he did! He set up an appointment with us,
came out, was prompt and explained everything to us. At this point, we knew he
was the right person for the job. In our two bathrooms, he tiled the floors, put
in vanities, mirrors, quartz and granite tops, and painted. In one of our
bathrooms, he installed a tub, shower door and also tiled the bathroom shower
area. Our Master bathroom was a remodel. We took out the oversize jacuzzi tub and
we designed a beautiful large shower, that is simply gorgeous .He tiled the
floors also, painted and installed a vanity and quartz top. In our kitchen, he tiled the
floor and backsplash, put in ceiling lights and under the cabinet
lighting.
Randy was ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS AVAILABLE to answer any questions that we
had and we ALWAYS knew what was going on with the projects.
We were EXTREMELY happy with the outcome of Randy's work.the projects were
fiinished in a very timely manner. We were VERY impressed by his work ethic, attention to detail, dependabilty, willingness to meet our needs and his pleasing personality. He
also works with a BEAUTIFUL and quot;crewand quot;, his wife Kate and Brandon.
Randy Glaze comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by our family. We will definitely call
Randy again whenever we need him!
In preparation for selling our home, my wife and I sought a contractor that could accomplish what we wanted with as few people coming in and out of the house as possible. We have four dogs, two of which are protective and I would not trust around strangers. This was a huge concern for my wife and I. Also, this project would require us to leave our home open to contractors while we are at work. We received three quotes from three different contractors, including VB Remodeling; Randy was quick to meet with us at our convenience. He explained that he primarily works alone, although he may bring a helper from time to time as needed. He took time to help us figure out our best options based on the size and layout of the spaces we wanted remodeled. After discussing the projects with him, gaining a clear understanding of the process and expectations, seeing examples of previous projects online, and simply getting a good feeling about working with him, we chose VB Remodeling. Learning Randy and Kate are very much 'dog people' was icing on the cake, especially after seeing them interact with our dogs; we felt very comfortable that Randy and Kate were the right people for the job.
We paid the initial deposit to secure the contract in late February, which was $500.00 and was applied to the final cost of the remodel. This put us on the schedule as Randy already had work lined up before us. It was mid-May when work began, at which point we provided Randy with an additional check of $3000.00 to cover initial material costs. As work progressed, Randy would give us receipts of any additional materials needed, at which time we would reimburse him. He left it up to us whether we wanted to obtain the materials ourselves or have him pick up items as needed. We paid for labor upon completion of each room. We collaborated on which room Randy should start work, and he began with our master bathroom. He gave us an approximate completion time of two weeks for each room he was to work on, and he did a great job at staying with that schedule. He arrived around the same time each day - just as he said he would - and never once left us wondering when he would be coming back. If there was a particular day he would not be working on our project, he communicated that to us so we knew what to expect. We were pleased with their very consistent work schedule. With potential issues he would run into, such as framing, plumbing, etc., he was sure to address it with us before proceeding, giving us options on how he could correct the problem at hand. Randy did a fantastic job keeping us informed of what he was doing, how long each task might take, and letting us know when he would be ready for the next room. Being that we were at work during most of these projects, we can say with complete confidence that we had no concerns for the security of our home and pets.
We have been VERY happy with all of the work that Randy and Kate have done to our home. We have received numerous compliments from guests about the work, particularly with our master bathroom. If there was any room of our house I could take with us when we move, it would absolutely be our master bathroom. One of the coolest features of that room was recommended by Randy. With the solar tube installed allowing natural light into the room, Randy pitched to us the idea of a plant shelf in the shower. I really wanted to bring the outdoors into the bathroom by using pebble mosaic around the earth tone tile work. Adding a plant to the shower almost gives the feeling of showering in a cave. We REALLY love this bathroom.
We highly recommend VB Remodeling and could not imagine Randy and Kate turning out anything less than high quality work.
