I went to a Verizon retail location to discuss renewal of my Triple Play Bundle. They offered me a good deal to continue wth their service. It included all the feaures I had previously plus they increased the internet speed for the same price as I had been paying. I accepted the deal. All services continued on as they were previously. I did have a problem with my billing. My bill was increased and did not reflect the deal that was discussed at the retail location. I had to call the Verizon customer service to have them adjust the bill to reflect the original deal.
Description of Work: Renewed Verizon FIOS triple play service (phone, cable, internet). Verizon increased internet speed when renewing service. No additional cost. Bundle price stayed the same previous 2 year agreement.

Customer service rep helped me choose a service that was comparable to the promo rate I had. He was very pleasant and not pushy in trying to upsell services. I have good quality viewing with Verizon Fios . I just wish they offered better packages for their existing customers and not just new customers!
Description of Work: Signed up for a contract for service after promotional rate expired. Although there were really no deals to compare to my previous rate and I had to drop extras like Cinemax and Showtime the transaction was easy and pleasant.

Verizon's customer service in helping fix internet connectivity problems is top-notch when compared to Cox. As a longtime Cox user, Cox always had to send a representative to my home to fix problems I otherwise was perfectly capable of fixing myself. Verizon's tech's are patient and knowledgeable. if they cant fix it, then normally find someone close by who can.
