They provide a service and that is all. If you are military DO NOT USE! No consideration for military orders. You will end up paying for the entire contract if you own the home.

A sales representative arrived at my house and explained the details of the services provided by Vector Security.
I specifically ask and was told that if I needed to cancel services due to recept of military orders I would be able to cancel the 3 year contract, so I agreed to the service based on the agreement that I could cancel if issued orders. I received orders, contacted the service department, and was told I would have to pay for the entire contract period regardless of orders. So after I moved from the location I was forced to continue paying for their services.
If you are a military member do not use Vector Security.

The service is fine, it works, and it goes off when it is suppose to. I think there was an original installation fee of $150, but it has been a long time so I don't remember.

There were a few companies with the same price, including Vector. We chose them because we know someone that uses their services and is happy with them. The price is for the installation. We then pay $29.95 per month for our plan, although they offer different plans as well. The salesman that came out seemed to be in a rush. However, they came and installed the system within one day and it went smoothly. I will continue to use their services and would recommend them to others.

As far as I was concerned, this company did very well and took the job seriously. When we set down with them initially, they were very thorough. We felt this was the right company to use. They have always answered any questions we had, and we felt good about them protecting our house.

When they installed our system, they explained every single thing to me about the system. My wife felt safer and secure with having their system installed. They were friendly and knowledgeable people who got it installed rather fast. We have not had any false alarms yet.

They installed the system in one day and they explained the whole operating system to us. The equipment was free but the service a month is about $35.00. We did a comparison with other alarm systems and this was the most reasonable.

Vector Security does a great job monitoring our home. We have not had any problems with their service. We feel very safe with them watching over our home and their prices are lower than any of the other companies in town.
